Good accommodation conveniently located close to Sofia Airport. I have been a loyal customer for many years now and I never hesitate to book a room during a long trip. The rooms are decent and clean and the customer service is top-notch.
If you get a room for three, one of the beds will be quite troublesome, as I found out myself. I literally slept with mattress on the ground because it was more comfortable. But other than that it is very nice.
It is ok. Sometimes in the wordrobe smells like kitchen which is not very nice. That also doesn't have software which makes difficult every time for the invoice. The breakfast is good but the chairs are not comfortable.
This place is a hidden treasure. Big modern rooms at low cost.
Very good hotel! Definitely a good place to stay.

Nice place and helpful staff. I had some problems with the WiFi the hotel staff resolved it immediately.
A very nice 2(two) star hotel, not a 3 star hotel. Our room was small to the point that it was difficult for my wife to maneuver around the bed to get to the bathroom. The bathroom has a shower but without walls so that the whole bathroom gets soaked when you take a shower. Clean. Quiet. The breakfast is okay, not great, if you do not get there too late, but the person running the reception desk also...
New rooms, but air condition do not work correctly on lot of rooms. Cooling and heating with no control. Interiors are pretty good. Comfort.
Staff is friendly. Suite on 3rd floor is large however there was experienced an issue with central card switch for cutting electricity. During night was very cold due lack of el.power and AC unit was not working.
A good small hotel although overpriced is nice what parking spaces. It's in a nice far from the center location with supermarkets and restaurants near it. There are also 2 metro stations near by

Overall a ok place to stay It's decently clean. The minibar is now empty. You need to buy stuff at the reception. The showers in some rooms are broken (no water pressure, the heat regulator doesn't work often) The elevator does funny and scary things (dropping a bit under floor, starting without closing the door fully)
Nice atmosphere, very clean and quite, friendly staff. This is exactly what you need when staying in a hotel. Didn’t get the breakfast, but tried the morning coffee, it was just great.

No one speaks very good English, the staff is not even aware of the hotel's own services (ie on the way there they were happy to offer a transfer to the Airport but on the way back they said all they could do was to call a taxi). Rooms are very clean but everything is black and the light is poor. It is close to a big shopping centre and Vitosha metro station.

It is a basic hotel but has an old time charm. If you want to see what the old soviet world looked like, this is the place. My only real complaint is that it is cash only. Which is a bit too old fashioned for me.
Luxurious and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, air conditioner works well, lighting also sufficient. Receptionist staff very polite and speaks English well. The hotel has only one floor which is huge filled with around 30 rooms I believe. Would definitely recommend this! Manuela, the receptionist was very helpful.

This hotel is located to the south of Sofia in the shadow of the mountains. Small, friendly, comfortable hotel it has no restaurant at present but there sre cafes and restaurants nearby. Dont trust the lift it is unreliabile. The rooms are large enough and clean. It is a short bus ride to the centre of Sofia and there are walks in the mountains.
Amazing stay, beautiful views and the rooms are great. Love the village atmosphere on top of the big city!

We went to the restaurant only. It's a great daily lunch menue for 11.30 leva ( tarator& courgette rice). The restaurant was spacious and the service swift& friendly. The portions are rather big& a good price. The chocolate souffle is freshly baked and like a lava cake still hot and liquidy. Child friendly.

When we was here at first everything looks ok. I was happy. When We had second reservation - it was awful. First room which I've got was a room for a disabled people. When I ask to change I've got a awful dirty room.. Upd: Finally I've got a normal room at third time. Hope the second one was a mistake.

It was overall great room, for the money, it was comfortable. The only thing why I rated the comfort at 9/10 was because it was a bit colder inside, on a cold winter day (-10 or so). After a while, the AC was getting the temperature up, but slowly. If you happen to open the door, or the window, and gets cold air inside, it took a while to get back to regular temperature. Maybe turn the heating...
In general the place is cool. It offers very good view, a garden and an open terrace. Food is tasty but prepare for a long wait if the place is busy. They tend to forget stuff that you order and you need to remind them a bit. They don't allow smoking in the restaurant which is very very nice (considering that a lot of such places do).
Very tasty food, calm place into the nature of Vitosha mountain, friendly atmosphere and service. Wonderful view to Sofia from the terrace, fantastic place for romantic dinner like mine :)! Recommended!

Very clean rooms inside. The food however is bad. Fried foods are fried with a really bad oil and the food seems to be just heated. The quality is great, the sizing/price ratio is the best on the market. Three starts is a rather generous rating for. Before moving into Darling Hotel I spent 2 weeks staying at Vitosha Tulip Hotel. Basically accounting for all the basics, the hotel is alright.... ita clean, rooms are if an average size, sone rooms even have double beds. But showers are combined with toilets, so after you have taken a shower you will need to wait for the floor to dry up before entering...
