Helios Bay Hotel and Suites

Having recently stayed again at the Helios I am writting this review as for the first time we stayed in one of the side sea view apartments so I thought a review would be worthwhile, for a start the layout is exactly the same as the front sea view one bed apartments, and maintained in cleanliness to high standards by the friendly and proffesional cleaning staff, we stayed on the righthand side of the hotel, the Coral Bay side, the view is much better than we anticipated with the normal beautiful views over the sea and sunsets as you came to expect as a feature of Cyprus, an advantage of one of these as apposed to the front which we noticed was that the sun comes onto the balcony at about 4 - 4.30 in the afternoon which is fantastic as on the frontage this happens early afternoon which makes it difficult to sit on the balcony in the direct sunlight, very much depends on your own thoughts but we felt this to be a real plus, protects your ice cold beer from the direct sunlight longer LOL, again a terrific overall experience from reception to the pool bar and of course Nicos and Lucas whom are always extremely friendly and accomadating, one other word of advice if I may, is to try and book early as we have noticed in recent years that the hotel becomes fully booked quite quickly as its popularity increases.

My friend and i stayed at the Helios Bay Hotel for 10 nights. We could not fault it! So much so we are booking to come and stay for 2 weeks next year. Our apartment had everything we needed in it. Cleaners came in everyday. Everwhere was lovely and clean, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Pool area was clean, always managed to get a sunbed, pool bar was a great area to sit and have a drink/eat, prices were all reasonable. There is a bus stop outside of hotel so you can get to Paphos or Coral Bay. There is a lovely taverner next door to hotel. The food is excellent! Well worth going to. All in all a fantastic place to stay. We cant wait to go back!!

Great location overlooking the sea. Rooms cleaned daily, towels changes and comfy beds. Bus stop outside door. Staff very friendly and helpful- we arrived late at night and were able to get a cold drink. Nice taverna next door. Ideal for couples, would recommend staying here and would go back again.

Had a fantastic 2 weeks at Helios Bay, it is in a great location close to restaurants and bars also far enough away from things to be nice and quiet. Rooms are very big and have everything you need. Great to be so close the sea and a very small beach. Pool is lovely and also a nice pool bar. All the staff at Helios are really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I did not get the names of the two ladies at breakfast but they are both very friendly and even remember my room number every morning 😊👍. I would recommend this hotel and hopefully we can go back next year.

Excellent. Very clean with friendly staff. Not noisy at night, convenient location near bus stops. A very good tavern alongside. Good value for money. Suitable for lone female. The breakfast was fine and served over several hours. The pool was clean and well maintained.

First time to this hotel but have been to Paphos many times, We enjoyed our stay. Apartment we got was well equipped and big. Wifi was a little sporadic at times in our area. Bed comfortable and in fairness they keep the rooms really clean with daily cleaning. Most staff friendly and breakfast /bar/pool area is pleasant, with fair pricing here. Pool itself was really nice but did find the deeper area quite dangerous as you can easily slip towards it(not a strong swimmer) with warning signs not clearly visible in my opinion. Kids pool too. Food that we did get was tasty and as i said reasonably priced. I think a car is needed for this area which we had but bus stops right outside. Pub and supermarket next door with ATM. A stoney beach and beach bar is a two minute walk away. Laundry and dryer with Iron is available for 8euros with laundry pod.

Spent a week here and would have liked to stay longer!
Rooms are basic but have all you need and are clean and comfortable.
The pool and poolside bar are well kept and it is easy to spend a day lounging!
All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Overall the hotel has a very relaxed and casual atmosphere and of course the location is great.
Will definitely stay again!

A good place to stay. Rooms and facilities are okay, breakfast is mediocre. Quick access to the sea, "sandy" beach (not swimmable) some 100m north, St George beach (swimmable) some 400m south. Staff is nice, wifi is good

Lovely place, First time to Cyprus. Hotel very comfortable. We had a Garden apartment room overlooking the sea and gardens. Lady on reception amazing for any needs. Cleaners first class and friendly. Bus stop outside both ways 2 euros. Spent most evenings in Coral Beach which has everything you need, reasonable prices to suit budget. Golf was great across the road. Lidl few stops away was heaven due to high prices in supermarkets nearby lol (beware). Big shout out to The Horizon bar 50m away football, good food and drinks, weather very hot very humid after 5pm, thank you
