Attention housekeeping…
The location is perfect
We stayed from August 9-15 2024
Yes they are changing the towels but it smells bad some of the towels are broken.
And one thing they didn’t even clean the rooms or used vacuum during our stay.
They didn’t even change the linens of the bed for 6 nights that we stayed there.
For me as I am also working as a hotel staff in Madrid and that we are told by our supervisor to change the linens after 2 nights, I am also expecting that it’s the same in other hotel but I am disappointed when it comes to housekeeping.
The reception is nice and accommodating we don’t have a problem with that.

The location of this hotel was really good, close to lots of restaurants and bars and near the cities attractions. While the rooms were very spacious they were not very clean with one corner of our room actually having mold in it behind the curtains. The wifi was also awful. The connection was so poor that i couldn't even load a video, and it would repeatedly drop out in the room.

Room and facilities were top notch for my stay on 12 August.
My check in staff were polite and courteous as were the spa and gym staff who are fantastic.
A great shame the check out person (Hirsch who claimed he was the manager) I believe was rude and unhelpful citing a bizarre policy for his behaviour. Otherwise a great hotel.

Very nice experience! Went there twice in one week as we really enjoyed it. Fantastic location.
Friendly, competent staff. Nicely furnished, clean rooms. Good breakfast.
Had rooms with great views both times, on high floors.

The best value for money!
The hotel room is so spacious and clean throughout. Everything worked sufficiently in the room.
All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a full spread of great variety.
Not a far walk from the Cologne cathedral and other tourist attractions. So many great restaurants in the surrounding area!

The room and the view from it were absolutely stunning. Location-wise the hotel is great, too.
But the service was disappointing. Some examples:
- Curtains were falling off. We asked them to be repaired. Did not happen over our 3 day-stay.
- Asked for wake-up call, but did not receive one.
- Baby cot was missing.

Good location, the room was not very clean, the coffee machine in the room was broken. The day I arrived I asked to get a take away gluten-free breakfast for the last day, which was not ready. The nice person at the reception did his best to put together something last minute.

The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, and the location couldn't have been better—easy access to everywhere. While the daily towel change seemed unnecessary, overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Much better than expected. Rooms were well kept and clean, the service was good too. The 3-Pax room that our children had was the biggest I have seen in Europe so far, very spacious and comfortable. Location was also convenient and easy access to public transport. Walkable distance to the DOM and major attractions too. Car park was also within the hotel.

The Steigenberger Koln is a great hotel. I come here for both work and vacation. It is a nice central location. Numerous restaurants of every kind within walking distance.
