The rooms are great. A lot of bronze and carpet but extremely clean, a lot of plugs, plenty of space in the shower and excellent WiFi. Unfortunately I couldn't give the breakfast or restaurant a try but they looked great!

We loved our stay at the Grand Elysée. Our room was spacious, the restaurants and bars were really good, and the staff was so kind to us and our three-year-old daughter. We couldn't have been happier with our time in Hamburg and a big part of the reason the trip was such a success was everyone at the Grand Elysée making us feel right at home. We'll be back!

I rated this hotel only 3 stars because one of the main reasons I chose the Grand Elysee Hotel was their laundry service. However, I was shocked when I saw the prices: they charged separately for every single item, and it was extremely expensive. All we needed was to have our basic laundry washed and dried. I could understand if it was for dry cleaning, but charging 4 euros for sports socks was unbelievable.

Be careful when you use your credit card. I really don’t want to write this, but I just saw another bad review talking about the totally same thing which really surprised me. Why no improvement after you knowing there is something wrong with your system? I have to point out just to remind other customers. They did not release my over 2000euro pre-authorization amount. I found out by myself. After several months of contacting with my bank I finally got my money back. At the same time I received no apology and no e-mail reply of explanation. This seems not a 5-star hotel service attitude. Maybe they don’t care about those few customers. 🥲

The hotel was overall good! The Grand Elysée Hotel was amazing! The rooms are luxurious, the staff are friendly-ish, and the location is perfect. I had such a fantastic stay there. Highly recommended! 😄👍🏻 The only negative thing i have to say about this is that when we went to check in, the staff were arguing and demanding things but they were okay and it cannot be bothered, they were friendly enough for a stay at the Hotel! The spa (If im honest) wasn’t that great or fancy as the rest of the hotel, But it was enough for a stay at the Hotel! I definitely recommend and the Hotel Rooms provide you with everything you need for a stay at the Grand Elysée!

Multiple Rooms were booked on Corp credit card. However upon each individual check in they still insist on physically scanning the card, and if not, want to charge a different card.

This is the best hotel in Hamburg. The service is fantastic and facilities classy, clean and comfortable. Proximity to shopping, CCH, public transit and outdoor space is convenient. Highly recommend a service at the spa and dinner in Piazza.

This is a really nice hotel that has an older charm. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is perfect. The spa and fitness center are also great. If you’re attending a conference at the CCH, this is a great spot. But if you’re looking for something more central, this is not the place, though easily connected to the center by foot or train.

Fantastic hotel with a central but peaceful and green location near water. We were there in 2019. A nice, posh and quiet neighborhood. Food was great, the rooms were great. Service was good. We couldn’t find anything to complain about.
