I recommend this place if you have plans to travel by ferry. It's located directly across from the terminal. The breakfast is good too! If you want to visit the old town, it's a 15-minute walk away.

This can be considered a budget hotel but it serves its purpose well. It is a good 20-minute walk to the old town area but only a 5-10 minute walk to some nice restaurants and bars. So, if you are just planning on staying there for a short trip or sleep-over it is just fine. It is also extremely well located in you want to catch a ferry to one of the Nordic countries (btw, great ferries!!!). The rooms are very simple, clean but not spotless and the sleep quality is quite good. I heard stories of very loud neighbours but that luckily did not happen. As for breakfast, well, it is very bland with little variety and I was expecting a bit more but, for the price of the stay, it is acceptable. Would I stay here again, I would not mind especially if I had to catch a ferry once again.

Perfectly adequate room. Everything worked as it should. Could do with revamp. Staff were great and located very close to a mall and the seaport.

Stayed for two nights. The rooms are clean but rather small. No emenities in the bathroom. Breakfast was good yet nothing special. The big plus was the distance (walking distance) from the ferry port to Helsinki Finland which we used. Staff was helpful.

The room was excellent, however it is showing its age but not in a bad way, i.e no issues or anything like that just stylistically old fashioned perhaps. Reception was very attentive. I had a member of staff who had only been there a month and she handled things well- I asked if I could pay with a different card to the one I had initially given the hotel. Breakfast was brilliant, however, the orange juice was rather muted I felt. If you are coming by ferry from Helsinki then it is fantastically located. It is also very close to the bus services into the centre of Tallinn. All in all, a very good advert for Estonia and a place I will consider staying at again should I visit Tallinn again.

The Hestia Hotel Seaport was just a glorious back packers. No tea making facilities in bedroom no restaurant and breakfast was very ordinary. I certainly made a blunder stating there - it was opposite the Ferry building but certainly not a place to stay as a discerning traveller. Staff were ok - that was the only positive.

Pros: the hotel has a very good location. Rooms are clean. Staff is nice. Breakfast is good.
Cons: too soft bed and that you can hear every step that your neighbours make as a loud bang. There were people rushing early in the morning (5-7 am) to the ferry. Unfortunately, I won't stay here again.

Hotel is in amazing location to terminal D, 3 minutes away from Rimi/Mall, to the city 15-20 minutes.
When we arrived our room wasn’t clean - bathroom. Immediately we told the receptionist and they cleaned it, while we were gone. Breakfast is mediocre.
AC is functional.
It would be great if there was a fridge in the room.

the hotel is in a good location, in a nice modern area, but 10 min. from the old town on foot. the hotel is neat simple but cozy. There is large shopping center nearby, and the Tallinn - Stockholm ferry.
