Exceptionally helpful staff. Great level of English and customer service. The beds are so comfortable. I've travelled all over Europe and the beds here are absolutely amazing (on the softer end). There's a lovely café/restaurant within the hotel. The servers there are lovely. Top 10 hotels I've ever stayed in.

This is a budget-friendly hotel, focused on providing the best value for money. For this reason, some services are automated, such as the reception, and the rooms have only the essentials, without daily cleaning. So, no TV or coffee machine in the room, but comfortable beds and notable cleanliness.

In the communal area, you can find, for a fee, drinks, coffee, and washing machines. There are also lounges where you can relax.

The location is also excellent, as it is close to the port from which ferries to Helsinki depart, just a few hundred meters from the historic center.

Clean modern room and facilities. Easy to navigate the self check in and check out process. The machines provide clear instructions. Location was perfect. Walkable to cruise station, old town and Rotermanni Quarter where there are a lot of restaurants.

Hi! I am a recurring guest at Citybox Tallinn, and this was my 7th stay. I love the hotel's facilities, the interior design, location, and the value for money. However, there is one major issue that has consistently ruined my experience: I haven't been able to sleep well during any of my seven stays.

1. The pillows are a disaster. They have a weird shape, seem to be made of plastic, and I can’t sleep on them—they cause neck pain.
2. The blankets also seem to be made of plastic, and it gets too hot under them with no airflow. Without the blanket, it’s too cold. I spend the entire night covering and uncovering myself to find some comfort.
3. The AC is impossible to control. Despite the remote on the wall, it simply doesn’t work. The only way to get air into the room is by opening the window, but it gets too cold quickly.

I love the place, but a good night's sleep is a basic expectation, and unfortunately, none of the other facilities can make up for the lack of rest.

I hope this feedback will be valuable for the continued improvement of the hotel.

I was very happy with my stay at Citybox in Tallinn. I loved the logical efficiency of the hotel. You walk in, enter your reservation number, and you get your room and key in seconds. There are no long lines at all.

The hotel is modern and very clean. The rooms are simple but highly functional with nice bathrooms and lots of outlets where you need them.

The simplicity and efficiency are reflected in the very affordable nightly rates.

Great place to stay midway between old town and the ferry terminals. Only 5 minute walk to either. Rooms are compact but very functional so it is comfortable for two. The share kitchen is efficient. Laundry machines are available though expensive @ 10€. Parking is below the hotel @ 10€/day.

Great stay. Clean and stylish/modern facilities.
Easy check in and out with the self service.
Great living room spaces to chill with friends and kitchen.
Very convenient to have a fridge.

Heard from our friends that their room was much bigger and it was quite tight with the baby cott.
But of course that's probably depending on availability of other rooms.

A nice model of the future hotel with minimal staff on site. (They still have the polite and smiling staff at the 24/7 counter in the back). A cafe at front. Trendy and modern interior designs and the recycling garbage bin.

Suggestion:

1. The room AC in summer is necessary.

2. Self check out could have been easier by inserting the card first for direct verification, instead of typing in the reservation number first.

Overall, a very good hotel with an amazing location just 10-15 minutes from the old town. A shopping center with a grocery store (Rimi) is 5 minutes away for those who prefer to save a few euros on restaurants. The hotel has very nice and clean rooms with great designs. Only a few things I didn't like: the room lacks fresh air circulation, and the air conditioning is not very controllable. Also, if someone bangs a door in the corridor, you can feel the vibration inside the room, but I didn't hear any outside noises.Still five stars in my opinion.
