Steigenberger Hotel El Tahrir Cairo

Perfect location - near to everything in the city center. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Room service neat. Laundry service super fast. High security measures. SPA and sauna are great, outdoor pool and bar superb. Staff is really attentive and professional. We were satisfied with everything except the food. Breakfast is decent though could be much more advanced - not much to choose from and somehow resembles more lunch buffet. Bakery side leaves much to wish for. Only thing absolutely perfect was coffee. Dinner was way below our expectations. No variety, overcooked and just not what we would expect from this hotel.

Last but not least, for everything you order you have to pay straight at the exact same moment. You can't put anything on your room. Can be a little bit annoying to go to pool with your wallet to pay for your orders immediately.

Hotel has perfect Location in the Center of Cairo. Staff at Check in was quick and friendly. Room was nice and very clean. The Food in the Restaurant was really Tasty and fresh. The Restaurant is nice bright and clean and the Service is oustanding, especially the Service from Mariam who has cared about my table.

I loved the hospitality of the staff, especially Donia she is amazing and so polite.
She even helped me get a take away of mango juice without sugar or any water.

The guard even helped me with the food to take to the room.

I swear I didn’t expect such kindness, I am positively surprised. The only thing which matters to me is being nice and kind and not pretending which was there in this hotel staff.

Everyone in the hotel is so human that, you really feel at home. This for me is so far the best hotel I have got best hospitality. Blessings and keep serving. Great memories

Hotel is very nicely located in the the heart of downtown Cairo. Not quite up to modern standards of some of the luxury hotels in the area but great for short stay or business. Staff are very friendly.. Maybe too friendly. I got very annoyed at being called every other day to be asked if I needed anything.. Yes, to left alone as I was either working or sleeping! Food at the restaurant was pricey compared to what you get outside but very nice quality but slow in getting to you. Mariam at the restaurant is very helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay, room was an OK size. Pool is small and can get overcrowded. We did not eat from here or use room service (we did call room service to ask for a fork so our son could eat noodles in the room but they wanted to charge about 145 Egyptian pounds just to use a fork which I felt was unreasonable however after going to the lobby and asking for a fork they provided one free of charge).
The staff are polite. The location is great. I would.probably try another hotel next time.

The hotel is impressive! It’s very clean, quiet and comfortable. The place in the middle of Cairo which is good to reach everywhere very easy and room views are very good. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay in Cairo and have peaceful holiday.

The hotel is in the heart of Cairo. Very friendly reception staff and great room services. The breakfast is great with a variety of different cuisines. Thank you all! Definitely I recommend this hotel. Looking forward to coming back to the nice and safe swimming pool

Donia and chrstien provided great service and the food is amazing ! Almost too many options for the morning but everything was delicious and the tea woke me up right away.
Drinks at the bar were great Miriam made a great Tom Collins and the lounge singer is phenomenal. Enjoyed waiting for my airport pickup.
