Ramses Hilton Hotel & Casino

My wife and I decided to stay at this hotel for 1 night only while we were visiting family in Egypt. We wanted to have dinner with the family while staying here. I busted this hotel a couple of days ahead of time to check it out and to also confirm with the restaurant it was ok to have guest for dinner. After we checked in, we stopped by the restaurant and inquired about a reservation and to my surprise we were informed none would be needed. We stopped by the pool and almost immediately was approached by security who requests to see our room key. It seems every where we went we were approached by security and requested to show our room key. Oddly, we didn't notice this happening to any other guest. After arriving to the restaurant the server seated us only for the manager to approach rudely saying the table that we were seated at was already reserved for other guests. We asked if there was any other place we could be seated at then and he replied no, so I kindly informed him that this was not our fault and after a short discussion with him we remained seated but it seemed to feel like it was and inconvenience. After dinner and a little live entertainment we ended the night, said goodbye to our family and headed to the room yet once again we were stopped by security who requested to see our room key. My wife decided to speak with the manger regarding this and to our surprise the manger apologized and said its unfortunate but he knows its a common thing for security to approach Egyptians ( my husband is Egyptian) and they can’t really do much about it but also stated he would speak directly to security regarding this. Breakfast was free but extremely unorganized and unprofessional staff/ chefs. We will not return to this hotel.

My first night staying were unsatisfied, air conditioning wasn’t working, the mini bar wasn’t functioning properly which is affecting my medication and I lost 2 days of my trip trying to find from pharmacies the same medicine.

I spent very bad 2 nights sleeping with opening window and noise from the street and searching for medicine.

However, when I checked in I insisted at the desk to have a good room but unfortunately it wasn’t until next day. Mrs.Fatma moved us to a good room but I already lost 2 days during my short trip.

Generally, I am not if this hotel will give a good experience, hopefully they will take care more about the rooms and guests.

Finally, thanks for the hotel members ( Mrs.Fatma) Who tried to please me and solve the problem that happened to me but unfortunately they can not give me back 2 bad days i already faced it.
