From reception to check out we had a wonderful experience here. The location is convenient and the view of the Nile is beautiful. Our room was comfortable and the property is kept up well. The only downside is their website is awful. We were given a QR code to order room service and it turned into us going in circles on the website and never finding the information we needed. We ended up just calling the front desk and describing what we wanted and that worked. The French bakery was a highlight of our stay. We had the breakfast buffet which was really very good with a large variety of foods. Non-dairy milk and creamer choices along with decaf coffee and tea options would have been great, but, in general, those are hard to come by in Egypt. Overall a very lovely stay and we hope to visit again.

Great location with very professional and friendly staff. The breakfast is very rich and diversified, and the music is really pleasant. A special thank to Mariane for her great service and friendliness, and to Habiba who was exceptionally helpful. Rooms are well maintained and clean; service has been optimal thanks to Yasser and Mohamad Abdelbaqi. The staff in the business lounge make the atmosphere even more exclusive. A really enjoyable experience.

A distinctive hotel, not only because of its location. But also because of its staff. All the staff are distinctive, smiling, and serve the customer with happiness and positive energy. I feel like I am among my family. The quality of the food is excellent. And the security service is wonderful. Everything here is distinctive.

Her welcoming demeanor and genuine smile set the tone for a wonderful evening. She ensured a seamless check-in and guided me to my table with such grace and professionalism.
Ali shafiq our waiter for the evening, was equally impressive. His attentive service, detailed knowledge of the menu, and impeccable timing made the meal all the more enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering personalized recommendations that turned out to be absolutely perfect.
The ambiance was inviting, the food was divine, and the service was flawless. Hanan and Ali are truly gems of this establishment, embodying hospitality at its finest. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking not just a meal, but a memorable experience.

The hotel is perfectly situated along the Nile River, offering breathtaking views and an exceptional ambiance. The on-site restaurants and coffeehouses are excellent, delivering a memorable dining experience with quality food and service.
Unfortunately, my check-in experience fell short of expectations. I was made to wait for 3 hours, with the explanation that the hotel was fully booked. After this prolonged wait, I was offered an “upgrade” to a room with a better view. However, this so-called upgrade included no additional services or amenities, making the 4-hour check-in process feel unjustified and unnecessarily lengthy.
Despite this inconvenience, the hotel still stands out for its stunning location, inviting atmosphere, and overall good service. With a more efficient and professional check-in process, it could easily elevate the guest experience to match its remarkable setting.

One of the best hotels in the area, Sofitel is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. The staff is friendly, and the service is exceptional. I enjoyed a stunning sunrise view from the balcony overlooking the Nile River. The access to the balcony is upon request, I found it’s a nice system concerning safety of the guests. For the dining experience, plenty of options across all its restaurants.

The Zamalek Sofitel offers first class facilities, services and amenities. We were privileged enough to have been able to book a boat ride on the Nile with food.
We were served excellent grilled meats by a team of energetic and helpful waiters who never failed to meet any of our needs.

We ate lunch at Kebabgy in front of the nile river. The view was amazing and the service at the restaurant was great and fast. The food tasted good and there were a variety of options on the menu. I recommend this restaurant if you want a mixed grill meal with tasty appetizers.
