One of the best hotels in the area, Sofitel is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. The staff is friendly, and the service is exceptional. I enjoyed a stunning sunrise view from the balcony overlooking the Nile River. The access to the balcony is upon request, I found it’s a nice system concerning safety of the guests. For the dining experience, plenty of options across all its restaurants.

Amazing staff that make you feel special with a smile always on their faces, always offering to help even if it is not their dedicated task.
Food is Amazing, the Breakfast is truly even more than 5 stars experience.

This review is directed at anyone.
The Zamalek Sofitel offers first class facilities, services and amenities. We were privileged enough to have been able to book a boat ride on the Nile with food.
We were served excellent grilled meats by a team of energetic and helpful waiters who never failed to meet any of our needs.
Honest rating: 11/10

We ate lunch at Kebabgy in front of the nile river. The view was amazing and the service at the restaurant was great and fast. The food tasted good and there were a variety of options on the menu. I recommend this restaurant if you want a mixed grill meal with tasty appetizers.

i had the pleasure of staying and dining at this exceptional hotel and restaurant situated on the stunning Nile River. The view is absolutely enchanting, making every moment memorable. The staff members are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and supportive, adding to the exceptional experience. My nights spent here were nothing short of extraordinary and filled with joy. A truly exceptional place that I highly recommend for a delightful stay and dining experience.

Location is amazing. Everything else is just fine food is not that good ,meat is chewy , salads are just fine and not very tasty. You can get better food for much less than what we paid. So basically overpriced and overrated

Breakfast has lots of varieties and great taste. Service is amazing, workers are very friendly and kind. Especial thanks to the young man "Belal" and his nice greeting and service

It was under my expectation, you need to know that the hotel is old and furniture 🪑 is old also. The location of the hotel and some of the nice staff made it better experience.
Personally I wouldn’t stay again if they don’t renew.
Also one of disadvantages I noticed them that my arrival time two weeks prior to my arrival and when I arrived I didn’t get into my room till 11:30 pm as they said it is getting prepared by the house keeping!
Furthermore, they blocked an amount on my credit so I can enjoy my stay, when checking out they started talking about a system that they can’t release the money or use it as they don’t know which machine was used to block the amount!!! And they said they have to email the bank and that I have to pay them cash.
One more point, I booked my stay through booking and they kept sending me link to pay which seemed to be scam at the start until I asked booking to charge the amount through them.
All these point doesn’t make you feel comfortable with them and keeps breaking your vacation fun.

Great place, great service. Every person we encountered has been pleasant and helpful. We had drinks and a fruit salad and still were welcomed! No pressure to order food. Highly recommended!

Good hotel at all, long time check in and out, safe and secure, very good location, I like the cafe on the river specially at the end of the day but the service was not that much good. To use suna and steam room you have only 30 min free! I didn’t use swimming pool, comfort bed the balcony was too small you cant set only standing I booked luxury room with river view! Noise from the river even for the 12th floor the window wasn’t noise cancellation and noise from AC fan I couldn’t sleep well but my wife likes that noise and let her sleep!
