Report on Poor Treatment at Sheraton Hotel

During my stay at the Sheraton Hotel, I experienced poor treatment from some of the staff, which negatively affected my overall experience. This report aims to outline the details of the incident, evaluate the level of service, and provide recommendations for improving performance in the future.

Details of the Poor Treatment
• Issue: Delay in service, delay in receiving the room, and poor treatment from the receptionist, who did not treat me with respect. The issue was resolved by me personally.
• Impact: This situation negatively affected my stay, accommodation experience, and overall travel days.

Recommendations:
• Train employees to treat guests with respect and professionalism.
• Improve response time to guest complaints.
• Strengthen supervision over the services provided within the hotel.
• Establish a clear and efficient mechanism for guests to submit complaints formally and promptly.

Conclusion

Based on my experience at the Sheraton Hotel, the service was not up to the expected standard, leading to an unsatisfactory stay. I hope this report will be taken into consideration to improve service quality in the future and ensure that all guests are treated with respect and professionalism.

I did the reservation on first of August to go to the Sheraton on 9 August and I was surprised when the hotel deducted $400 on 5 August And when I asked why this happened, they told me to guarantee that you are coming so I canceled my reservation and they told me my money will be back in 14 working days. I have been following up with them since six of August and until today. 26 of August nothing is happening and I keep getting the same reply. We will check what’s the problem and we will get back to you or they tell me. Oh no it’s not 14 working days it’s 21 working days. It’s just so sad to see this type of unprofessionalism in such a hotel that called themselves five star hotel I wouldn’t even give it half a star! I have contacted Cristena from the Reception and also someone named George. He said he’s a supervisor. I’m not sure how they get these positions. However, this type of ridiculousness Doesn’t happen in an elegant, luxurious hotel but unfortunately that’s not the case here. I’ve been staying in hotels for 40 years that’s the first time such an easy problem takes a very long time. Usually, when employees Lack professionalism and honesty that’s what happened to you. I’ve been calling them more than 25 days and they just throw me on hold waiting without any justification. The reason I’m stating all this because the hotel is not authorized to access your visa unless you did not show up or you didn’t cancel your reservation one day earlier otherwise it’s considered stealing your money and that’s what’s happening here!!
