Good hotel with decent rooms and service. There are a few great and very affordable luxurious restaurants inside... Although the nearby streets might make sleeping an impossible thing.

I did the reservation on first of August to go to the Sheraton on 9 August and I was surprised when the hotel deducted $400 on 5 August And when I asked why this happened, they told me to guarantee that you are coming so I canceled my reservation and they told me my money will be back in 14 working days. I have been following up with them since six of August and until today. 26 of August nothing is happening and I keep getting the same reply. We will check what’s the problem and we will get back to you or they tell me. Oh no it’s not 14 working days it’s 21 working days. It’s just so sad to see this type of unprofessionalism in such a hotel that called themselves five star hotel I wouldn’t even give it half a star! I have contacted Cristena from the Reception and also someone named George. He said he’s a supervisor. I’m not sure how they get these positions. However, this type of ridiculousness Doesn’t happen in an elegant, luxurious hotel but unfortunately that’s not the case here. I’ve been staying in hotels for 40 years that’s the first time such an easy problem takes a very long time. Usually, when employees Lack professionalism and honesty that’s what happened to you. I’ve been calling them more than 25 days and they just throw me on hold waiting without any justification. The reason I’m stating all this because the hotel is not authorized to access your visa unless you did not show up or you didn’t cancel your reservation one day earlier otherwise it’s considered stealing your money and that’s what’s happening here!!

I have been staying at the Sheraton hotel for 3 weeks while attending an event, and I must say, the experience is exceptional. The service is outstanding throughout my stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and cooperative, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The facilities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere made us feel right at home.

During our delicious breakfast, Abdelhamid taught my friend and me how to make the traditional foul (beans) by gathering the right ingredients from all across the buffet. It was delightful! He was kind and attentive, as was all the staff members we interacted with across our few days in the hotel. It was a great stay!

My mother and I had the most amazing experience staying at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino. We were treated like Queens! A special thank you to Ali and all the gentleman at Concierge for attending to us. Much gratitude to Omar, the restaurant manager and his impeccable staff who gave us special treatment every morning.
The hotel’s facilities are luxurious, modern and clean. As well as, extremely safe. The hotel’s restaurants and room service was phenomenal with high end cuisine.
The gym has the same modern equipment and exercise machines that my private gym in America has.
Thank you to all the staff for such an outstanding experience! Five Stars! Cannot wait to visit Egypt again and stay at this hotel.

This is truly a wonderful hotel to choose for your stay while in the Cairo/Giza area. The staff are very friendly and professional. The room service is accommodating and the concierge is very helpful. The rooms are clean and the pool area and gym are both nice. You have options for Starbucks and a few other onsite restaurants. This has been a pleasant experience thus far.

Cairo can be a whirlwind, but my stay at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino was an oasis of calm. The location was perfect – right on the Nile with stunning river views from my balcony (definitely request a Nile-facing room!). I spent evenings unwinding on the balcony, watching the city lights shimmer on the water.
The staff were fantastic – friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. One morning, I was craving something typically Egyptian for breakfast, and the staff surprised me with a selection of local specialties that were absolutely delicious. It's those little touches that make a big difference.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a luxurious bed that practically begged for me to sink in after a long day of exploring. The pool was a lifesaver during the hot afternoons, and while I didn't visit the casino myself, it seemed like a popular spot for other guests.
Now, a couple of things to keep in mind. The hotel is right in the heart of Cairo, so it can get noisy, especially with traffic. Also, while the breakfast buffet was amazing, some folks might find the other restaurants a bit limited.
Overall, though, I absolutely loved my stay at the Sheraton Cairo. It's a luxurious hotel with a ton of history, right in the heart of the action. If you're looking for a comfortable and stylish place to stay in Cairo, with amazing views and top-notch service, then this is the place for you!

This is a wonderful place to stay. However, some of the members of the staff weren't very welcoming, not smiling and sometimes very rude. Maybe it's because of Ramadan or maybe because we only were travellers from Kuoni (and not rich people🤔). The fact is that we "played the game " buying cocktails and wine, and for some of us, going to casino. But it's still a wonderful hotel with a beautiful view on the Nile, 3 or 4 godd restaurants, a swimming pool, a casino, etc etc.

I had a very pleased stay in the hotel. The rooms were clean, the food was very tasty and the hotel staff were very kind. I have to give special congratulations to the staff Hesham Ragab and Omar A/Azem that worked in the breakfast and dinning area. There were extremely helpful and willing to assist as. One night there was a misunderstanding with the time dinner is served and even though we get there late the staff arranged and prepared many dishes for us. Special thanks to the chef who prepared very tasty food.
I would definitely stay there an another time and I would recommend it.

Having stayed here a few times over many years I wish both towers rooms were available as the tower I really like was closed ( due to the views over the city) We were on a Viking cruise, the service was exceptional, it was my wife’s birthday and they did a great job decorating the room that we eventually got with a glimpse to the Pyramids, the breakfast was truly amazing
Being from Australia and not using US dollars I really appreciated the bank on the ground floor being open to change my Ozzie dollars for local currency ( at a great rate ) I might add which was used for tipping etc
All in all a good stay and worth coming back to
