Gold Ibis Hotel

This is really nice hotel , owner is kind and support us every thing, good location for any tour, I recommend this hotel really for visiting Luxor area ~

Beautiful family hotel with an amazing atmosphere. Great location close to all important monuments, the Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Luxor Temple. The owner and staff will arrange transportation from the airport, any trip according to your wishes, and anything you will need during your stay. Excellent hotel location close to the stores and restaurants, clean rooms, swimming pool, and an unforgettable view from the terrace. Breakfast and dinner are also very good. Next time in Luxor, we will stay at the Golden Ibis hotel again.

Great place, very clean, comfy rooms, host always available and really friendly (we had a minor inconvenience with the AC and he immediately switch us to another room). He also proposed to help us organize our tours of the area.

We were a family of five and had three rooms at Gold Ibis. We were made very welcome from the start - the room was spotlessly keen and the beds had been beautifully prepared. We were on the top floor which had good views, especially from the back over green plantations. The beds were very comfortable and a good size. The roof terrace is fabulous, with views of the Nile and the across the city towards the Valley of the Kings. Breakfast was traditional which might not be everyone's favourite but we loved it. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean.
The hotel arranged a transfer from the airport which was in a modern bus with a safe driver.
We were able to walk from the hotel to the riverside where there are places to eat and drink. We hired a car and driver to get us around the West Bank sites which was easy enough and good value.
A ferry to the East bank is close by and very cheap or you can hire a boat cheaply too. Our only criticism would be that you have to ring the bell to get in at night which means the proprieter has to stay up if you are late back. I would highly recommend Gold Ibis for a stay in Luxor.

We boooked the hotel in May 2022. It’s location is good and it’s just walkable distance to public ferry and 15 for the valley of kings and queens. From terrace we can see nice night View. It’s first time Luxor for us they picked up us first time and staff members are polite and it’s secure. Breakfast is good too.

Breakfast is very good. You can ask for some fruit, milk or anything and they are happy to help you. The rooms are clean, quiet (not much noice from prayings) and bed is big enough. The only minor issue is when you take a shower the bathroom gets wet because there are no curtains. Price-quality this is a very good hotel (16 euro's per day)

A friend and I spent 4 days in this hotel last january. We were amazed with the hospitality, the beautiful view from the terrace, the comfy bed and the spacious room. The showers were great too and their breakfeast is delicious and the best we have had in egypt. Everybody is friendly, speaks good english and are willing to help you with anything. Moreover, staying on the other side of the city means there is less hustle and bustle and you will actually have a relaxed holiday feeling. Thanks for everything habibis!

Really nice rooms, attentive service. Great location right near the Nile River water taxis that take you to downtown Luxor and the ancient Luxor Temple within 5mins. The hotel employees speak english well and will help you with anything you need. They go above and beyond for their guests. The rooms are spotless, nice pool, chill rooftop lounge with a view of the Nile...This place deserves 5 star
