Consists of a main 1-storey building (reception) and complex 3-storey buildings.

Beach: private sandy beach, near the corals, pontoon, the first coastal line. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses, towels – free of charge. Between the hotel and the beach promenade. The length of the beach – 300 m.

During our swimming at the sea one of own towels was taken/stolen by somebody from the lounge chair.
We report this case at the nearby towel centre immediately and got the info to explain the situation at the reception.
At reception we have a conversation with a stuff who didn't know english.
It was sad that its our fault that we "lost" the towel and we were finally changed for it.
We have a transfer to the airport in a 20 minutes and not enough time to have a long conversation with a whole chain of manager system. So we pay for the taken/stolen by somebody towel.
Funny but really sad situation which reveals a significant problem in interaction with guests and management at the Regency Plaza.
During my stay, I encountered multiple issues that severely impacted the quality of my experience!
The air conditioning in my room was malfunctioning and, despite reporting this to the hotel reception, the issue persisted. Although the staff attempted to fix the problem, the air conditioning would cease to function properly within an hour. My sisters faced similar problems with the air conditioning in their rooms as well.
Also, I found the housekeeping services inadequate. The cleanliness of the toilet mirrors in the rooms was substandard, and housekeeping did not attend to the room without being specifically called to do so. Fresh towels were not provided unless explicitly requested, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. And the quality of the food provided at the resort was poor, further diminishing our overall experience.
I have reported these issues to the Jordanian Tourism Agency to ensure that future recommendations of this hotel are reconsidered.
I hope that this feedback is taken seriously and that necessary improvements are made to enhance the quality of service and amenities provided.
Last but not least the activities in the hotel were only for Russians. Also, the music they play in the pool is Russian only they don’t even consider the Arab visitors!!! I’m truly disappointed!!!!!
One! they don’t allow taxis to go further than the entrance, which means a 10minute walk just to the reception.
Two! No one understands or listens to you, you want a scale to weigh your luggage, what’s that? You want an iron, what’s that? You want a beach towel, what’s that?
Three! They lie about what times breakfast, lunch and dinner are. They tell you it’s 10pm and then when you go at 8:30, they SNATCH food away and say it’s closed at 9??? Change your website and booking leaflet if that is the case.
Four! There is a board next to the pool stating the pool is from 7-7, why did everyone get kicked out at 6???
Five, the receptionists are all useless, I’ve asked for a luggage cart multiple times and had to take a heavy 30kg luggage down multiple flights of stairs. Mind you they also DO NOT HAVE A LIFT!!!!
Six, your room will be miles away from the reception, dining area. Soo much land and they built rooms that take you 15mins to get to the reception then another 10mins to get to the gates where taxis cannot pass??
Seven! You won’t see that aqua park you booked for lol, it’s between the gates and the reception. I stuck to the pool because I am not walking 20mins to get on a slide.
Honestly I can keep going but this has genuinely been the worst experience of my life and I love travelling. Everyone has been rude, no one helps you, we also had men knocking on our hotel rooms asking for money?? All that security and I was frightened by a stranger knocking on my door.
PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! It is not worth the money, it is not worth the stress, put in an extra hundred or two and go for much better hotel. I hope this helped before you decide to book this horrible excuse of a hotel as your holiday destination
The food isn't necessarily catering for the English palette, but how can you go wrong with omelette, beans, and coffee. If you want tea bring your own, I wish I did. The crepes and chocolate sauce as my second course. The beach bar does burgers and chips, always a winner, not sure on the hotdog though.
Overall a nice experience, not sure I would stay again just because there are so many hotels to choose from.
We were out of toilet paper, soaps, shampoos and shower gels. In order to get them, we had to take them ourselves.
This is unnaceptable. I have made an official complaint at the hotel. We were promised to have the room cleaned daily.
