We walked in and felt like we stepped back in time with the decor-in the best way possible. The staff was beyond pleasant each day and so patient when I tried to tell them my room number in Spanish. Hahaha Our room was small, but who cares? We were there only to sleep, not do cartwheels. Sometimes the room would be hot when we got in from walking all day, but again, who cares? Just a few minutes later and we adapted to the room, or it to us! Lol
The 24 hour buffet was fantastic! The food was tasty and always a treat! This hotel is a visual treat and walking distance to SO much! The taxi area is right outside the hotel too. Again, I'm so thrilled we booked this place and would recommend it to everyone.
At the end of the day, you just need a place to clean up and sleep. Be happy you can afford such a vacation and escape from the real troubles of this world when irritants start to creep in your mind regarding how you preferred your stay to be. The "problems" we noticed with the hotel weren't really problems at all. Thank you so much!

Stayed in this hotel for one night. I would like to say that we are very satisfied! Pleasant staff ready to help. The hotel itself is absolutely wonderful, beautiful rooms, lounge, all the decor. What is great is the fact that hotel guests can take advantage of the buffet service at any time. Good food and drinks are provided all day long. This is a real concern for the guests! Also very good wi-fi. Just great. The location of the hotel is very convenient and comfortable to get anywhere in the city. Will definitely stay here for a longer period of time next time.

The location is excellent, very close to the subway and tourist spots. The reception staff are very kind. The shower is great, but the bathroom door in the room where I stayed didn't close properly and wouldn't lock. The room is simple and small, but very comfortable. However, there was an issue with an unpleasant smell, possibly coming from the carpet or the wardrobe. The restaurant is nice and offers a 24-hour buffet with plenty of drink options, desserts, fruits, and salads. However, I missed having more options for hot dishes for lunch and dinner. Overall, I recommend the hotel and enjoyed my stay very much.

Well, what can I say? I'll start with the positives. The location is very central and very convenient for exploring Barcelona. The staff we dealt with (John checked us in) were very helpful...sadly that's where the good news ends. We booked the Versailles 'suite' and sadly suite was very misleading. We were lead to a room directly opposite the buffet area, upon entering we were lead into a large room that was the living area and doubled up as my kids bedroom (11 & 8) not uncommon. Our 'bedroom' was a corner probably former store room with an en suite crowbarred into the corner. The whole room was dated, dirty thread bear carpet, doors directly onto the restaurant so very noisy that side...buffet the other side...also very noisy. The lounge had old tatty furniture, hadn't been decorated in years, no curtains (just very thin drapes that don't keep the light out). The 'main' bedroom had a standard double bed that you couldn't walk round and double doors into an en suite with a half sized bath that had patched up holes in, the shower was awful and don't get me started on the toilet!! All in all this 'suite' needs burning to the ground and starting again! The rest of the hotel (from what we saw) was very similar.
The only reason I have given 2 stars is purely for location and the staff.
My advice...book elsewhere.

Suck experience ! We booked 2 nights months ago and checked in at 10:30 a.m and paid at the reception desk. They told me to come back at 14 p.m because of cleaning in progress. We understood and hanged out till 15 p.m. Ridiculous things happened that the hotel receptionist told us there was no room for us. We should go to another hotel nearby( no extra charge,I have to be honest). But we don’t want to rest in a lower score one, so we rejected the option and asked for refund. However,they refused to refund! ! ! Horrible!!! No room, no charge. That’s fair. They shouldn’t force us to accept their arrangement without negotiation and previous notice. We even have no rights to say NO. Gangster,out of law ! I’m not sure if they over-sale our room to others( many guests checked in when we quarreled) or if they are just racial discrimination ( checked in guests are all white people) .
No matter what fact it is, avoid this hotel cause they are robbers.

Very used hotel and required big changes. Soundproofing is close to zero, toilet and street sounds. Curtains works only one way. The hot water is ok, but if you don't want to take a 20-30 min shower, can finish sooner(not sure may be it was my fault). Climatic system is broken and you will get a small heater for your room, welcome to the 3* hotel.
The 24h buffet is limited, but enough to get some finger food. They do declare self-service, you have to clean table after yourself....
Myself and my wife got a stomac sick, can't blame the buffet but very suspisious.

I’m not one to go out of my way for a review, but found this necessary especially for tourists coming a long way for a trip. There was roaches, carpet/room smelled horrible, walls were paper thin - you could hear EVERYTHING going on next door. Gross. Also, we asked about AC and they mentioned that they were getting it fixed. Because we were debating extending (which was a a no already at this point), we asked when they think it will be done. Thinking it could be hours. They said no one was working on it. It was so hot in there by 7am that it was unbearable to be in there even with the window open. To top it all off, there was construction right on top of us plus the loud kitchen that woke us up by 5-6am. They did not think to tell us about construction even though we checked in really late. Very rude. We probably should have asked for another room, but didn’t. The 24hr breakfast was cool, but as soon as we saw the first roach, we questioned that food. Luckily, we were able to kill the roaches. We didn’t want to move at this point because as I stated, it was late. Plus we are from Florida so used to them. Terrible experience which is why I knew I had to share. Never gone through that before for a pretty expensive hotel. Fridge didn’t work, no bath soap, nothing offered. The pretty lobby, friendly staff, and food isn’t worth it.

Very cute boutique hotel in an excellent location. Close enough to metro and bus stations. Small but comfy and clean room. 24 hour buffet is more of a gimmick but you can't complain when you have non stop beer coffee and wine. We stayed in mid August and paid a premium. For a 3 star hotel I consider it to be expensive.

What a blast from the past. This place is phenomenal and the views are stunning. Rooms are spacious. We appreciated the 24 hour buffet to be able to get a quick bite before leaving. The staff was very friendly and it was within a short walking distance from LA Rambla

Super friendly staff and great location! Stayed here for two nights and I really liked this hotel. The 24h buffet was good and the fact that it also included beer and wine really surprised me. The Dining Hall and hallways are gorgeous and The staff really made me feel welcome.
