Worst hotel ever! Beds are so incredibly uncomfortable, I felt like the coils were digging into me. The a/c barely works and reads of cigarettes. Booker hotel cause it offered three beds and shuttle service to airport, well shuttle service is every hour and was booked out completely for 2.5 hour window around our flight. The bedding lacks padding and was so uncomfortable I almost wonder if it would have been more comfortable to share a king bed elsewhere, among three people.

This is the worst place in Madrid. They cancel the reservation with no notice and left my whole family in the street at 1 am in the morning. Called the police when I tried to show them that they made a mistake. The guy at the reception, Jose Luis, told me that the reservation is cancelled and that he can help in any way. We ended up sleeping in the airport. Worst customer service ever!!! They run the scheme of cancelling rooms and renting them out for higher price. Shame!

I recently stayed at Senator Barajas Madrid, and it was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. We were initially hesitant to book, as many of the reviews were negative, and we now regret not trusting them. The check-in process was chaotic due to a computer issue, but we were patient. However, things quickly got worse.

At 12:30 am, we were woken up by a call demanding immediate payment for a booking issue caused by the hotel's system, (even though we had booked through Booking.com, who obviously has our payment details). This unnecessary disruption woke up our baby, and despite knowing we were a family with a small child, the staff showed no remorse. Instead, we were accused of trying to avoid paying for our room—completely ignoring the fact that the issue stemmed from their system failure.

The staff were rude, dismissive, and refused to acknowledge their mistake. Even the manager failed to show up at the promised time the next morning when we waited to speak with him.On top of that, the soundproofing in the hotel is terrible. We could clearly hear a dog barking in another room, which disturbed us earlier in the evening, adding to the discomfort of our stay We should have trusted the bad reviews—this hotel is unprofessional, unhelpful, and not worth your time. Avoid at all costs.

The front desk ladies are the worst ones, mean and rood. I booked my hotel 5 months ahead. We checked in normal like anywhere else my self and my 2 kids, the front desk guy did not put us in the shutter list ,next day on the way to the airport they did pull us out of the shutter because of that. Something that we don't have anything to deal with, and no one tell us anything about. So ridiculous. Big scam. They advertise shutter and they charge for it. But going back to the airport good luck. Shame on them. But I will fellow with the corporate regarding what happened and the No Behavior of the front desk ladies that's what pissed me off more. She was talking to another lady in the wheelchair really bad, I did feel cheated. No manager was there to see and hear what happened to my self and the other people asked for the manager the response was no one is here yet.

Beds were very low quality and uncomfortable. Thermostat was fake news and even cranking it to 30 degrees the room was still freezing. Balcony door lock was broken but luckily I was on a high floor. Worst part was that the toilet paper was sandpaper. Something is gonna be sore for the rest of my time in Spain.

Everything else was fine. Staff were friendly and professional. But please don't cheap out on these things if you're gonna call yourself a four star hotel.

The location is very close to the airport, and as a side note, DO NOT get a taxi here. They do not tell you about the minimum 33 Euro charge until you are on your way.

The hotel is clean, but the rooms are very dated, and the beds are more like cots. If we were staying longer, I would attempt to get the AC fixed as it only blows hot air. For tonight, as it is late, we will sleep with the door open.

Realistically, after spending 19 days traveling, staying in 7 different hotels, this is probably an 80 Euro a night hotel.

Calling it a 4-star hotel is definitely a stretch!
