Just home from a 4 night stay and I wouldn't rush back. The hotel it's self was okay, rooms were spacious enough and air con always working, had to chase the maids for towels a couple of times and your room doesn't get cleaned everyday. Brilliant hotel. Cheap and cheerful. Great amenities. Large pool and separate smaller pools. Close enough to town centre and beach that everything is within 10 mins.

I'm basing my 5 stars on the price I paid for my package holiday. It was at the time such a bargain.....but!!!! Lots of large parties of people who had come for the nightlife and party atmosphere,so be prepared for noisy party people arriving back in the early hours.

As you'll read the location is on top of a long incline which is a con for some and if you pay €15 extra per night they will put you on the sea view side of the hotel (so then being on top of a hill is a good thing). Good hotel in a very convenient location.

The hotel is located in the center of Salou. Both the service and facilities are impeccable. The room is large, the bed is also large, there is a balcony to enjoy a glass of wine, and the restaurant is also good.

Hotel in a good location. The room was very large. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was great, the best of many hotels I have been to. Breakfast is optional but is complete. You can order eggs or an omelette and they will make it for you immediately. Good service. Small spa, but included in the reservation. Only a Jacuzzi and saunas.

An amazing adventure park compared to American amusement parks. This one was large, clean and well maintained! Rides were fun but I do recommend buying the PortAventura Express pass to skip the lines!

Place is great but I had to give only 4 stars because all the good rides are closed due to a wind concern. There are a few super high rides that make sense to be closed, but there were a few that could have been opened. Coming all the way from Serbia, you can imagine my disappointment.

Very central location, close to beach and harbour. If people leave a towel on a sunbed Breakfast was disappointing, should be better choice of fruit not just apples and tomatoes, mushrooms or similar to cater for vegetarians. Too many sweet things. If something is left on a sunbed when not occupied, it should be removed by staff after 30 mins.No saving..

Check-in took far too long. They only have 1 person with 1 computer at the front desk. Not acceptable for a 4* hotel. I tried calling them for 10min before arriving, no one would pick up the phone. This little hotel is a real gem. It’s away from the bustle of Salou, but near to little beaches and coves where you can swim in the Mediterranean. Rooms are clean. Food is good. Pool is quiet. We loved our stay at Ancora apartments! Our one bedroom apartment was so nice and had everything we needed for our stay. So close to the beach and shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartments are lovely, with a large comfortable sofa, dining area and kitchen.

We had to pay €20 for sheets and towels. You have to pay a tourist tax of €10.56 per apartment. Very bad check-in times: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. You have to take out the trash and wash the dishes when you leave the apartment, and they check it before returning your deposit.
