Sofitel Le Scribe Opera Hotel

I returned to this hotel after nearly 10 years, and it was absolutely the right choice. The excellent service and great location were just as I remembered.

Thanks to the warm hospitality, my daughter’s first trip to France became unforgettable. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the service was thoughtful in every detail.

Special thanks to Mr. Christophe, who speaks fluent Japanese and welcomed us warmly each morning. His thoughtful farewell on our last day was especially appreciated.

We’re truly grateful and will definitely come back!

Excellent hotel with professional and efficient service and a magnificent breakfast buffet. Centrally located near most Parisian attractions , shopping and restaurant. We were impressed by the room service that was extremely quick and housekeeping is excellent as well. Rooms a bit on the small side but meticulously clean and have every possible amenity. Bed and pillow was very comfortable and nice , large bathroom towels. They have turndown service , 24 hour room service, a nice bar and small gym.

Stayed for a few nights with my husband. Rooms were small but tastefully decorated and clean. Very comfortable beds. The location is great.
I would like to mention the staffs at the breakfast venue. They were all very friendly, attentive and professional. Special thank you to Christophe, who was always welcoming us with a big smile, offering us food. I was so amazed that he could speak so many languages, including Japanese, Mandarin and Korean! Our stay was made extra pleasant because of Christophe.

Beautiful hotel and room. Service was excellent. Tea time in the bar was a nice touch. Room was not ready on time so our drinks were comped. Breakfast was absolutely stunning, with attentive and friendly staff. Little takeaway boxes of pastries for snacks later was much appreciated and unexpected. Only issue was our hallway smelled strongly of marijuana for 2 days (thanks to a nearby guest) before an air freshener was administered. Location is amazing. Safe area of Paris, close to Opera metro station and major sites. (We booked this through a Viking river cruise- also highly recommend).

Not only is the Sofitel Le Scribe a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location, but the staff provided some of the best service we have ever experienced from a hotel. Even prior to arrival, their concierge team was incredible, helping us to book dinner reservations, tickets, and experiences. I asked them many questions and they always responded promptly and with great detail. Throughout our stay, the entire team, from the doormen, to the front desk staff, bar staff, housekeeping - everything was incredible. We have only positive things to say about our entire experience and we can't wait to come back one day!

From the moment we booked our stay in Sofitel Le Scribe in Paris, everything about this hotel experience exceeded expectations. The check-in process was late and there was a bit of wait however with the staff greeting us warmly and professionally it was fine and had a complementary drinks while we wait. Throughout our stay, the service was impeccable—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any request.

The room itself was a perfect blend of comfort and cleanliness and of course luxury, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city. We appreciated the attention to detail, from the cozy bedding to the spotless bathroom. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The location of the hotel is another major highlight. Situated in a prime area, we found it easy to explore nearby attractions, with excellent transport links just a short walk away. Whether it was strolling to the Eiffel Tower or enjoying local cafes, the location was ideal.

I booked Sofitel Le Scribe through American Experience Hotel Collection for my wife’s birthday and we were extremely satisfied with our stay. The hotel reached out to me months in advance to see if there was any way they could make my stay special. They were able to accommodate a request for a higher room with a balcony that fulfilled a dream request my wife had. They also had an option to add on a birthday package that included a cake, champagne and decorations. The food and service at the hotel restaurant were high quality and the location of the hotel was excellent because we went to the ballet while we were in town.

We stayed here for 3 nights in September and couldn't have been happier. We received a complimentary upgrade through Amex and our room had a Juliette balcony that was lovely. The room was well laid out, extremely comfortable and just beautiful. The bathroom was great and we loved the products (there's even a French bidet!). The cleaning staff were also excellent, our room was spotless.

The location is also in a very safe neighborhood, steps away from the metro and lots of shopping and restaurants (but still quiet).

We dined at the restaurant one night and it was AMAZING! I highly recommend eating there as the food was delicious, the staff excellent and overall experience was 10 out of 10.

Everything about the hotel was amazing but what really sets it apart is the service. The gentleman in guest relations (I sincerely apologize as I can't remember his name) went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and pampered.

We came for 4 days and this hotel was a highlight. The service here is exceptional - and I mean that in comparison to other 5 star hotels. From the bar staff, to the door staff, to the wonderful people taking care of our room. They remembered us and our preferences at every turn. We live in London, a short train ride away and confidently will be returning to this hotel for future stays. Incredible.
