Ariadne Hotel in Rethymno

The hotel is a good choice for moderate comfortable and calm vacation. Apartments include needed commodities: WiFi, conditioner and small kitchen with cutlery. Rooms are cleaning every day. Personnel is assistant and attentive. Breakfasts are good and suitable to eat according to the plate rule. There is a swimming pool. The beach is about 5 minutes by foot. There are lot of cafes, restaurants, shops and supermarkets nearby.

Nice hotel if you want to relax in calm and clean appartment with pool, near to the beach and restaurants. In thr center of small place with some shops, 15 min by bus to the Rethymno. I love Crete ❤️

It was our first trip to Crete and Ariadne Hotel was a very good host. Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean, nice swimming pool, 2 minutes walk from the beach. 5 km away from the old city of Rethymno (waiting for the local bus can take up to one hour ), but plenty of good restaurants right next to the hotel.

It is a lovely hotel with a very good location and with nice staff. Our room and the hotel was clean, altough the furnitures in the rooms are old.
For me the shower was a little bit uncomfortable, and the bed was noisy, but it's totally worth it for the price.
In my opinion the breakfast was not very tasty, the eggs and the cold meals (salami etc) were not good, the coffe from the machine is bad. So if the breakfast is important for you choose an other hotel, but it is good for the price

Lovely family stay back in 2019. Administration staff was really friendly and helpful. Birthday compliment from the hotel was really a lovely surprise.

we stayed at this hotel in July 2016. the hotel is realy nice and very clean. they clean the room each day and once every 2 days the sheets are changed.
the hotel has also a swimming pool that can be used from 9 AM to 9 PM. it is good alternative that you have when the waves are very big at the see.
the breakfast was good, lots of choises, but eah day was almost the same food. you have from what to choose and you do not need to eat the same meal two consecutive days. each day you have fresh fruits at beackfast.
the bar is opened 24/7 and you can order at any time. the staff is so nice, they will do anything to make your stay there better. if you like you can even have the meal deliver to your room and during the day you can also order some snaks from the hotel. if you need a taxi, the staff will order it for you.
they serve also dinner, but i can not say how it is as we did not pick that package. if you want to have dinner out you definately need to go to vergina, which is across the street.
when you leave to the beach, you only need to cross the road and go on the path straigt until you reach the sand.

Hello; best to start from the moment we, family of 4 arrived to this hotel. We were quickly warmly greeted by the receptionist called Petros. He was extremely polite and kind to reassure us all that this is the right place for our holiday. We felt safe and happy from the moment we arrived. We were offered great apartment which we later upgraded to an even better. At some point of our stay we had some plumbing issues in our apartment but the hotel staff made sure this was resolved at the best possible way. I need to mention and say big thank you for all the staff at the hotel, Mr Ilias, Ms Penelope and Petros who all worked hard and tirelessly to be at our hand if needed. There is also special thank you to the owner of the hotel (which I don't know the name of) who is often seen at the hotel working together along his staff. There is also big thank you to all the cleaners, kitchen staff and room mades who made our stay clean and welcomed.
Hotel itself looks great, clean and very functional with decent size rooms and even bigger apartments for families. The bathrooms could be upgraded but it serves the purpose as it is too. Swimming pool is of good size and clean. We stayed at half board and were more than happy with the food provided, especially for dinner. Shops are near by and supermarket at 3min walk from the hotel. Great sandy beach is 3-5 min easy walk from the hotel. The place around is quiet and suit families perfectly. Big thank you for all hotel staff and who knows, we might be back next year.
