If you’re going to Athens, this is absolutely the best place to stay. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and prompt, and professional. The hotel and room were modern, well maintained, clean, well equipped. The breakfast was incredible and honestly, one of the best parts of staying here. The location CAN NOT be beat either! I could not recommend this place more! Best place we stayed in our 3 weeks trip across the Mediterranean.

Our 3 night stay at your hotel capped a wonderful 2 week vacation in Italy and Greece. Our room was clean, the beds comfortable and the daily room cleaning service was much appreciated. The front desk personnel were very courteous and helpful with a special shout out to Margarita! The complimentary breakfast featured a variety of quality offerings as well as very helpful and gracious service. Of course, the view from this rooftop location was amazing! Your personnel handled our luggage on arrival and departure and also arranged for taxi pickup from Piraeus and on our departure day to the airport. We had a wonderful stay at your hotel! 5 Stars all the way! Thank you so much! John and Sue Delapa

We just spent 2 nights here, and it was incredible. The room is quiet and so comfortable and nice. The staff was super kind and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic. We had dinner one night at their rooftop restaurant - the food is great, and it provides uninterrupted views of the Acropolis lit up at night. The entire stay was magical, and we would 10/10 stay here again.

If you’re looking for a quiet, restful night, avoid this hotel at all costs. After a long day, I was hoping to get some sleep, but I was informed that the bright LED lights on the balcony, which illuminate the building, cannot be turned off. The lights are glaring, and the room stayed brightly lit all night. When I raised this issue with the staff, they suggested using the three layers of curtains in the room as a solution, which shows that management is aware of the problem but clearly uninterested in the well-being of their guests. While the staff really tried to work through the problem and even offered me a bottle of sparkling wine for the inconvenience, it just demonstrated the tone-deafness of the organization. If you value your sleep and want a peaceful hotel experience, this is NOT the place for you.

Service was A+. Friendly front desk and bell staff.
Breakfast was included and the restaurant was great. Big menu, fast and friendly service, great food.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice balcony with chairs too. Shower was a bit tiny, and awkward to use due to size , but not a deal breaker.
Location can’t get much better. Right near most of the attractions.

The Hotel is in a great location, very walkable to the Acropolis
and shopping. The staff are warm and welcoming from check-in to check out. If you get a chance I encourage you to eat in their rooftop restaurant, it was amazing. The dinner was amazing and delicious, breakfast which was included with our stay was great, fresh squeezed orange juice and honey yogurt. Yum!!!! Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Athens you will won't be disappointed.

AthensWas Hotel is a beautiful place to stay - the staff are exceptional, the rooms modern and very well appointed. The setting for breakfast is suburb, and Senses restaurant for dinner is "dining art" in the most spectacular way possible.

Beautiful hotel in a superb location. Service at this hotel was second to none, staff couldn’t have done anymore for us during our stay. Room was immaculate, modern and spacious and breakfast was delicious with a great view of the Acropolis. If you are torn between which luxury hotel to stay at in Athens, look no further! We previously stayed at Electra Palace (5* in a similar location) but AthensWas Design hotel was the solid winner. Worlds above in every aspect.

On our way from the USA to visit a Greek island, we spent one night in Athens. We choose the AthensWas hotel based on positive reviews about the service and the location. All the reviews were true. The service, especially the concierge service 3 months before our arrival was amazing. They made transportation reservations, dinner reservations and anything else we wanted all of which were perfect. The location was perfect too. They arranged for a guide to take us on a short walk to the Acropolis where we saw the spectacular Parthenon plus other treasures. If you go to Athens, you must stay at the AthensWas!

En route to the Peloponnese, we spent a night in Athens. The hotel was perfectly located just a 5 minute walk to the Acropolis and adjacent to the Plaka and the Temple of Zeus. We were upgraded at check in to a suite and the room was gorgeous, with a large terrace and a view of the Acropolis. We were juggling multiple large suitcases, and the front desk easily helped us, called taxis, made reservations, etc. Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious and had a glorious view. Will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Athens!
