The rooms are not in very good condition. I think they are quite old. I did not have any problems with hygiene. The breakfast is really nice. The variety may be small but everything is quite delicious. Especially the view is very nice. It is a nice feeling to have breakfast in the morning facing historical buildings. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. There is no SPA, there is only an outdoor swimming pool that cannot be used in winter. I bought it through Booking but they asked for my credit card information separately because they have a minibar. If you come the same way, do not forget to have a credit card with you, knowing this. Finally, know that you have to pay city tax.

It is rated below three stars. There is nothing in the room. There is no kettle, coffee maker, hotel directory, stationery, pen, etc. Breakfast is very normal. Only the view is good. It cannot be used for more than 3 nights. I won't use it next time.

Royal Olympia Hotel clearly shows it was once a luxury destination, but unfortunately, it no longer meets the standards expected of a 5-star hotel today. While the breakfast was enjoyable, it’s surprising that even basics like cappuccino aren’t complimentary. Worse, there’s no free water in the room, and they charged us €4 for a small bottle!
The management’s approach feels outdated, focusing on appearances like views and luxury beds, but missing what truly matters to modern guests: a great overall experience. To regain success, they need to rethink their strategy and make meaningful updates that prioritize customer satisfaction.

A lovely hotel in a perfect location, just 10 minutes walk to Acropolis southern entrance. Good sized, very clean rooms, nice sized bathrooms, with shower over bath. Top floor bar overlooking Acropolis and the park. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and good service, also located in restaurant on top floor to enjoy the views. Would certainly return here.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was huge and a very nice room. The bathroom was amazing. We enjoyed our time there. The breakfast was part of the room and delicious. The staff was helpful. The view is good but not as amazing as the hotel photos. The area is decent but I wasn't impressed with most of Athens.

located a few minutes from the Acropolis, this hotel offers a good short stay for those coming for the first acquaintance with Athens. Rooftop restaurant - highly recommended. Our room (executive ) was clean and quiet. We expected it to be a bit larger, based on the website information. The swimming pool is nice and clean.

Overall we loved our stay here- the hotel is in a perfect location for being close to restaurants/shops as well at the Acropolis. The hotel is gorgeous and well kept, but the rooms literally have ONE single outlet. None in the bathroom, none by the beds!! They did provide an extension cord when we asked, but you still can’t do your hair in the exquisite bathroom. The hair dryer also barely blows any hot air making it almost impossible to get ready, which you would not expect from such an upscale property. We did notice the front desk staff was not that welcoming or kind when we asked for directions etc.

The room is a bit outdated, particularly when it comes to charging devices. Royal Olympic Hotel is right in the city centre which is very convenient. Right across you can see the Acropolis which is definitely a nice view. The room is spacious and the bed is comfy. All in all this hotel is quite nice.

Only good thing about this place is the location. The rooms are extremely out dated and the smell is awful. Tv remote doesn’t work the front desk staff and very short and frankly a bit rude. Can only change channels but pressing the numbers one by one hoping to find a channel. The remote doesn’t even have a backing on it so the batteries constantly fall out. Cannot charge phone anywhere but one area. I was going to unplug the lamp but the cords look like they might electrocute me. I have stayed in cheap hotels in Asia that were better than this and they were awful. The bath room is filled with ants which is weird cause we are on a higher floor. Not worth the price we paid. Maybe for location but that is absolutely it. Highly DO NOT recommend.

Firstly, it’s not a five star hotel and for the price per night it’s not value for money. The only thing that makes up for poor service are the views. Two single beds were provided, joined together to make a double bed. One of the elevators didn’t work during breakfast time. Floor lamp and socket didn’t work in the room. Don’t expect early check it or late check out. No free water. No electric kettle in the room. We asked for ice to the room and they delivered which was nice of them although the receptionist gave us an option to go to the bar and get it ourselves 🙃
The service wasn’t good.
Lobby is large and with lot of seating available as they weren’t giving rooms to anyone before check in time and the lobby filled up pretty fast. No one in the hotel really smiles and that makes everything very awkward. I wouldn’t stay here again and I wouldn’t recommend this place either.
