Nice and clean place.close to metro station. Comfortable bed but they really need new pillows, they are over used.The breakfast stayed till 11.30.

You get what you pay for ... what is to say too much in athens! convenient location, clean and refurbished rooms. Nice roof restaurant for breakfast.

Relatively cheap, central location close to so many places, large comfy rooms, very good breakfast with a view. Can't fault it.

Excellent and cheap food right next to OSKAR at the '' Station '' in Souvlaki -Gyros which serves in the beautiful square in the park, as well as good and cheap coffees

Everything was high quality, great portions and very low prices. Friendly reception and service and nice garden atmosphere

Both were very satisfying, and ample to feed us all. The dining room had also a nice location with a view of the pool. The hotel was a little aged but the rooms were very clean, and taken care of

The front rooms had Ocean view the back rooms had the pool and the view of other buildings. The lobby was very nice and modern and able to accommodate a lot of people

Within the same amount of walking you could be at McDonald's goodies or Kentucky fried Chicken. It had an outdoor pool which looked very clean

I booked a short break specifically with the filter set to Swimming pool. There is no swimming pool - it’s empty and late may. Can’t tell you how disappointed I am. It definitely should be stated when booking

hotel needs some tlc 🌷 Came here in 2018, and when we first walked into the lobby I really thought it was luxury and was therefore excited to see the rooms - once we got there i was underwhelmed since it was out dated

I wish how the communal areas of the hotel were like the: dining area, lobby etc, reflected the rooms itself. On a better note, the food was amazing (but expensive) and the staff were amazing too

The room itself was also very nice, so we could easily spread out two suitcases without any problems. The porters and receptionists were kind, and they also looked after our luggage, so it was very convenient

The breakfast and food was delicious too, a great bunch of staff willing to help in anyway. Also very easy to ask any tourist information you want and will definitely get given good advice. Would recommend this to anyone

They are like the family everyone wishes to have. Little noisy, yes, but that's the compromise of being in the center of a busy city. You can even make Greek coffee using hot sand

Our room on the top floor had a view of the Acropolis, was equipped with a refrigerator, had a good shower and hot water came out quickly, so the room was warm and nice

Cleaning every day, excellent linen, fresh towels

The bathroom is very small, but has a good rain shower. Slight defects in the tightness of the shower. so the bathroom is always completely "under water". The soundproofing should be checked & improved

Very good & nice hotel in the center of Athens. It is perfectly accessible via Athens train station and then via the Larissa metro station. Good breakfast is also available. everything to start the day well

Breakfast was delicious and the only cons was there's no water provided only the 1st day we were given water since we were late check in due to the night flight

The hotel is in a very central area, walking distance from their place to the place, and also close to the metro

If I go to Athens or Piraeus, I will choose this hotel for sure. The laundry service is also impressive. We loved our stay at this hotel

Not a super nice place not an awful place,rooms were pretty nice, bathrooms are quite nice, good place to stay for a night as a jumping off point for the island ferries,not a place to stay if you're visiting to be sight seeing Athens

We booked a room but couldn't make it due to delays. They did a free cancellation and when we arrived the day after we could make use of the shower and Pool against a small fee. The people are super friendly and gentle

We needed one night in Athens, going from the airport to Piraeus, it was the perfect location without going to the city centre, we spent an hour at the pool, we walked to the beach for a swim and had dinner in the centre off Glifada

There is a pool on the roof and a bar with restaurant service during certain times of the day. Good snack meny at roof bar, recommend club sandwich. Breakfast was served on ground floor and was not eventful

Room was okay, just the bathroom needs really improvement. Pool on the top is great for a quick cool down, but it is pretty small for swimming :)

First of all this place is awesome and climate over here is great. And the hotel wahh looks great. when I just came inside this hotel and took the look it make me feel great so I was very hungry I order the food for me

Took me a while to find this hotel while looking for one with a pool. Location is top marks very close to all the sites Plaka, Acropolis, hop on busses, etc

The rooms are very clean (super point), mine came with a balcony with view to the pool (not impressive, but I didn’t care) Something I would recommend the restaurant to improve is the quality (not the quantity) of the breakfast, Greek food is worldwide known for its flavors and diversity, and I didn’t feel it here

The hotel made an effort to give us a room with a view of the Acropolis which made our stay brilliant. Breakfast is minimal but good. Rooms are small and be careful with doors, open outwards and I pulled a toenail off

Included in our stay were two tickets to the Acropolis Museum and a 3-course dinner at the hotel restaurant. I don't usually have high hopes for hotel food, but our meal here was delicious

What a cute and fancy looking, yet unexpensive jewel! They are super friendly, stayed up late (until after 3a. ) just to make sure I make it home safely from my daytrip to Epidauros

Location is great. the building is gorgeus. Rooms are tidy and clean. Breakfast is good. The hotel staff tried their best to suggest us where to go and what to do. I will go again

It was way too hot to be sitting by the pool without being able to dip :( I couldve saved $$ by staying elsewhere so I wish this had been advertised. My other main issue was it was SO hot every night

The staff @ Golden Sun were lovely and all so helpful! The pool not being open was a big surprise & upset for me as that was the main reason I booked the hotel and it was 25 degrees + more each day

we had a one night stay and everything was great

We were looking for a nice, cheap and cosy place to stay during our Athens trip and found it! Although it might seem like the location is not the best, I must admit that I have not seen weird people at all (we returned to the hotel at around 10 pm every day)

In addition, the metro takes you to the Acropoli in less than 15 minutes as the closest metro station to the hotel (Metaxourghio), connects the centre of Athens with the red line (Line 2), in 4 stops (Omonia, Panepistimio, Syntagma, Acropoli)

Upfront this hotel is probably circa 1970 so presents as “dated” however it was immaculately clean, the beds were very comfortable, air conditioning worked well, staff were exceptionally helpful and it has 24hr reception

One of the best hotels of the city I got there last minute with my father and sister and it was great. What can I say,how cleaner it was ,how quiet it was and the staff was amazing. The hotel was near the city center

Best hotel, just 150 yards from the metro. good price. 24hrs reception service and we can leave our luggage here, roam the city and collect it whenever we want. Excellent service !!!!!. Love to stay again.!

The hotel is a walkable distance from the metro station. There are quite a lot of mini marts also nearby. The room was a little musty, but the service was really nice. All in all, it was of good value.

They made me feel like home and I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone making a quick stop or a long stay in Athens. It's got great connectivity too and the breakfast is good and filling with a wide variety

Nothing luxury, but clean and we had a good stay. The area is quiet and full of beautiful villas. The evening walks to nearby restaurants was a pleasure. The staff was very nice and accommodating with our needs.

the advertisement online is not true as rooms are a little small and it was weird that u had to turn in ur key before u left but at least it helped us with not losing it

But the water is a consistent temperature and heats up easily. The staff were very helpful and kind. There's a fabulous cafe for breakfast that costs less than the hotel just a few blocks away called Aioli

The Athos hotel is a decent hotel in a convenient location. They have a lift which is somewhat rare with European budget hotels. But it's the smallest I've ever been in. The air conditioning was a placebo

You can push more air by whistling. We were thankful the windows opened fully. There's a roof top with a view of the Acropolis but there's nothing to do up there unless you bring it with you

As we were getting ready to take a taxi a protest started so we had to walk to the metro station one young man that works at the hotel helped us with our luggage all the way to the station

You're better off going to the metropolis Hotel rooftop or the Elysium rooftop Where they have restaurants and bars. The shower is so small you have to step out to change your mind

24 hour maned friendly reception desk. Unfortunately i didn't get to try the breakfast buffet, due to early departure. The only downside was that the shampoo/shower gel was a leftover from the previous guest

A little space of heaven :) We were met by the sweetest host and right away she offered us fresh lemonade in the burning heat of August. Its location is close to every sight in the city center

It's not a warm welcome and made me feel unsafe. At the end, the accommodation rate is not high, so I think the price is far to what you get, therefore I can't have high expectations, hence the rating of 4 stars

Really good located dead in the center of Athens. 5 minutes to the agora and 15 to the Acropolis. Rooms were clean, quiet during the night despite being in the center. Breakfast was good, enjoyed it
