We have just arrived home from a wonderful holiday at the Belvedere. We have three teenagers and they all thoroughly enjoyed. Excellent family hotel in Crete! We are currently on our 2nd visit , we couldn't fault either stay. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and can't do enough for you. My particular favourite is yoga/meditation followed by a Greek coffee or home made iced tea (really is at slightly different each day) the animation team have been really good. Although all inclusive it is worth while taking a 10-12 euro taxi into a village to seek out Cretan food, often with a stunning view.

Okay, in my opinion I would give 4 stars, only because of the building and room. We were in 141 and it needs some renovation, hotel unfortunately as well. Some public toilets sometimes are not clean. On photos room and hotel looks much better and fresh. Upon arrival at 3 in the morning, we were given our keys and the man at check in let us enter the dining room to eat after our tiresome flight. Great for families. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great variation of food . Had a couple of maintenance issues with room but they sorted it within half an hour . My biggest let down is the alcoholic beverages . Even though they tasted good sadly the alcohol content was pretty low which according to a trip advisor reply from the resort was it is in compliance with Greek govt rules for all inclusive...

Overall it was a nice hotel, for the price it is really good, I’ve seen lots of negative reviews, but I don’t really get it, no hotel is “perfect”… i felt like the staff were trying their best, which was nice. We arrived together with the little son, the view is stunning. kind service. A two-year-old boy did not have so many attractions. Unfortunately the food and alcohol to our taste is average level or below. But we had a great time.

Herssonissos Village is a beautiful place with great views and cozy rooms. The bar is fantastic, thanks to bartenders Ricardo and Dimitris. Both of them make amazing cocktails, and they are warm and friendly. Their excellent service made my stay even better. Definitely will come back!

I was here for a week. I'm so happy, room nice clean and big. Friendly staff, nice food(but the chefs have to learn to coock rice because every time undercooked, and the soup every time very salty.) the view very nice. Beaches very close 8 minutes by walk.

Lovely modern little hotel! We arrived late in the night and the recptionist gave us access to the restaurant to have late dinner! The rooms were modern and stylish! The food was perfect! We recomend this hotel 100%!!!!
