A cool place with excellent vibes, music and attractions for the entire family. The service is awesome in the beach bars. I must write specifically the cheff Giorgos Skoulikaris and su cheff Manouiswho assisted us greatly with Gluten free dishes for our kid. Ever time we asked for a dish we got it, even if they had to go out of their way to prepare. They were absolutely superb and we are sure to take that into consideration next year when we look for a place to vacate

A very beautiful place for a family vacation we took. The front desk team were very welcoming, assisting us with all our needs all along our stay. Very big verity of food and beverages served along to day, presented on the dining halls with explanations. Great 'Kids food' corner with everything kids love. Very pleasant stuff on dining halls. Plenty of activities for all ages, along the whole day. So many pools, playgrounds, and activities for all ages.

We stayed at Star Beach in Crete and had a wonderful experience overall. The hotel is large, very clean, and the staff are kind and helpful. The food was generally varied and tasty – we especially enjoyed the Cretan restaurant, which was excellent. The only slight disappointment was the Asian restaurant, which did not meet our expectations. The hotel is fantastic for families with children. There are plenty of activities, including a water park, slides in the pools, and afternoon and evening entertainment. The kids also loved the snack bars located throughout the resort – it felt like there was one around every corner. Our room was quite spacious, though the layout was a bit unusual for our family of five (two adults and three kids). The hotel has a beachfront with water sports available for an extra charge, such as jet skis, banana boats, parasailing, and more – and the staff there were absolutely wonderful. Right next to the hotel you’ll also find go-karts and mini-golf, which turned out to be great afternoon activities for the kids. One downside was that the air conditioning was not turned on in the restaurants, lobby, and dining hall, which made it uncomfortable at times in the August heat. Overall, it was a great experience for the kids and a fun family vacation.

We had an excellent trip in early April. The resort is very family friendly with a huge buffet that offered something for each of our kids, along with the separate Hot dog/burger/pizza and pancake/waffle and other snacks bars that were also enjoyed.

The resort is well spaced so the room blocks aren't too crowded by each other. Before arriving we thought the water slides, pools and more were further apart from each other but it's a short walk all around from your rooms.

It was off peak in early April so we probably avoided a lot of crowds, and got to enjoy the beaches and pools without their being crowded. I'm not sure what peak season is like though there's lots of loungers and more pools available.

Good WiFi throughout, clean room. Most of the staff are very friendly.

Pool water is cold as a warning, more an issue for the adults I found as kids just jump in. Limited selection of drinks can get boring after a while. Convenience store on site is expensive but you can blow up your own inflatable with their air pump so that's nice. Decent Spar across the road for your random item or other food needs. It would be nice to have a morning take away coffee option. That's about all the negatives I can find, we had a great trip.

I traveled with two children, aged 9.5 and 7.5. The experience at the hotel was perfect – excellent service, a wide variety of food, lots of attractions for the kids, and plenty of activities. In short, there's no doubt that we’ll be coming back again.

Very nice hotel, we had room in Athina building, pool party wont hear there.

Pool areas are big and clean.. if u go 10:00am you got good place.

Lot of kids in hotel, we have one in holiday.

We were here for a week to celebrate few birthdays. We were a group of 12 people, aged from 10 to 70. Only two minors, the rest were adults. We were looking for a place that had something for us all. Well, this hotel was probably more for the families with children. There was many pools and pool areas but there wasn't a pool for adults for a good swim or relaxing sunbathe. Biggest and deepest pool was the one with animation but that was always very crowded and impossible to properly swim. Every other pool was designed mainly for children. Well, in the middle of everything was a big pool but it is VIP only so you should pay to swim there. Room was good and clean. It had everything we needed. Beds were very soft, maybe too soft for me and what I'm used to but others seemed to like it. Food was good. Really good. There was a lot to choose from and everyone found something to eat. Staff in restaurants were very polite and nice, always smiling and working hard. We got some snacks from different bars by the pools and they were good also. The wok-bar was a nice and different thing, really enjoyed it. Beach is quite small but it was still nice. All and all: nice, clean and quite modern hotel in large area. You are never hungry or thirsty. Close to city and shops so it was easy to walk there if didn't want to spend time at hotel. Clearly designed for families with children, not a good pool for adults. Still we had a good time.

Had an amazing holiday here! The food was amazing! The pools were awesome and the staff were great! We loved the rooms also! The only issue we had was there was a private villa (not star beach) next to us and they played really loud music and sung and shouted until 2 am every day. We barely slept which really ruined the holiday. We did ask the front desk to help us but not much was done. Would stay again but asked to be moved far away next time

We had a fantastic stay at Star Beach in Crete and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing holiday. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable base for our trip.

There were plenty of dining options — all the restaurants we tried were really nice, with a great variety of food. A personal highlight was the stir fry area, perfect for a tasty mid-afternoon snack.

The resort is incredibly family-friendly, with loads of different pools, water slides for the kids, and fun play areas to keep them entertained. In the evenings, the entertainment was lively and enjoyable — a great way to wind down after a day in the sun.

The beaches were beautiful, and it was a real bonus that sunloungers were included. The only minor downside was that the beer seemed quite weak, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience.

All in all, Star Beach offers great value, a fun atmosphere, and everything you need for a memorable holiday. Would absolutely go back!
