Leo Hotel

No words could describe this wonderful building with is historic charm. Central to restaurants and tour operators. A Mecca for shopaholics. Originally her childhood family home, Helen now manages the property and is a delight to talk to. I have additional info for those who are inexperienced or ignorant travellers - The Venitian buildings were not built with pools or underground parking. Live with it and stop whining. You aren't back home with your mommy.

Best hotel ever!
Eleni (the owner of the hotel) is a lovely, friendly and helpful person.
She always asks how your day was and if there‘s something she can do for you.
We slept here for 2 days as a couple and I thinks it’s a great location in this beautiful city.
Also, the bar is directly located in the hotel and we had a funny night with flavoured Raki & Richard who works on the bar.

Thank you for everything! We are looking forward to visit you again one day.

The hotel very impressive and decorated beautiful. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the old town steps distance from everything, shops restaurants beach etc. The breakfast is very nice. But overall the owner Eleni is superb nice and make you feel like home. Thank you Eleni for great staying.
Hotel Leo is situated at the historical center of Rethymno. It is a two storey building of 15 century, the former residence of the Venetian local governor. The preserved Venetian, Turkish and Cretan architectural features have been mingled making the memorial- hotel unique.
The entrance faces one of the most colorful, picturesque, pedestrian , medieval narrow streets of the Old part of the city, Vafe street, where you can enjoy your breakfast or drink.

It is easy to find free parking nearrby on the street that goes round the fortezza.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff are very friendly and could not help you more. The rooms are always very clean. This is only a bed and breakfast but they do serve snacks through the day. There are plenty of restaurants near by. Had our honeymoon here and we loved it. We are staying here for 12 nights but have seen people stay for 1 or 2 nights at a time. I would most definitely recommend leo hotel!!!!
