Davitel - Tobacco Hotel in Thessaloniki

Upon arrival at 9pm we were very well received and further assisted by the very helpful and friendly young man at the front desk. The rooms are spacious and clean with very comfortable beds and neat bathroom. Breakfast was sufficiently extensive and tasty with plenty of choice ( of course we were the first to eat at 7h00 as we still had to travel on to Belgium by car ).
Also, the hotel has a limited number of parking spaces just outside the door, where we were lucky to still have a free space at 9pm. So we were able to use that for free as well. The location the hotel is ideal, everything is within walking distance. On the contrary, I liked the neighborhood of the hotel a bit less, clean, to the point of being rundown.
But this hotel is really recommended if you want to visit Thessaloniki!!!

The rooms are very clean and spacious, as well as comfortable. The place is in the neighbourhood so the views aren’t great, but it’s close to the centre. The food is good, and the service as well. I’d totally recommend and I think it’s perfect for a short stay, especially if you’re on a longer trip across Greece or such, also great if you want to visit the city.

Hotel room was spacious, fully equipped and very quiet. There were a lot of options for breakfast. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. City center is not far from the hotel.

Great location. Near one of the synagogues. Walking distance from all important spots yet in a quieter area. Staff was great. Bumped into the owner of the hotel who was exceptionally friendly and kind with a unique life story. Made our stay memorable. Definitely will recon and to family and friends!!!

Nice hotel located right after the paid parking area. So you can park on Ag Dimitriou street, although free parking spaces are very few - this is Thessaloniki after all. The hotel has 4 parking spaces in front, which are enough for the beginning of November. During the summer season, maybe it will be a problem, I read that in Thessaloniki hotels do not have their own parking lots, but you can park for an additional fee in a private parking lot. We were at the beginning of November and we haven't paid. we did not use air conditioning and heating due to the ambient temperatures during the period.

We were on the top floor as i read comments that it was a bit noisy. It's true - it's noisy with an open window, mainly because of the growling scooters. But once you close the window it's OK.

The rooms are clean and big enough. The breakfast is varied, vegetables, fruits, patties, croissants, omelet, muesli - it will appeal to every taste. The stuff is very kind, friendly and helpful.

They let us park our car in front of the hotel after we checked out.

The walking distance from the hotel to the White tower is 2.5 km. Which is just fine! Down the Ag Dimitriou street you can reach the Agios Dimitrious church and by turning right from it, toward the sea, to Aristotelous Square.
