The location is perfect and just 5 min walk to metro. Booked a single room and was more than satisfied with everything.

It is a 2 star hotel so don't expect anything fancy; if is just a good hotel where you can sleep and visit Thessaloniki as it is within a walkable distance from the main landmarks.

First glimpse of Greece Hotel was clean - requested more pillows and got them - you have to hand your key in every time you go out so when you come back from being out it takes awhile for the room to cool down The guy on in the afternoons was lovely and accommodating

This hotel, filled not only with awards and the best motto: "The heart of hospitality" but also with Mount Athos art and books was simply fantastic. Perfect stay in Thessaloniki! I absolutely loved my stay here! The location is perfect, just a short walk to all the sights, shops, restaurants. The staff were absolutely fantastic - friendly, welcoming, always available and ready to help, day and night. The room was very clean, comfortable, quiet at night. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was nice. The night however was very exhausting. First of all, there was no curtain and the shutters were certainly not effective to stop the light. Additionally, if I could speak Greek, I would understand every conversation on street. We had the feeling that we were sleeping in a tent on the street. For a nice rest we don't recommend this hotel

We stayed here just for one night after a wedding of friends. The location of the hotel is nice, especially the view over the sea. And we slept very good in comfortable beds. Only the bathroom was a bit dirty, cleaning definetely needs some improvement. But all together a good place to stay at!

Nice clean room, professional and friendly staff. The only thing is you can’t get food delivered because they have a restaurant. I ordered room service the whole time I was here. Nice hôtel. The only downside...there is no parking. You need to go and park your car in a car park and pay. The hotel does NOT offer Free Parking. That is the only downside. Other than that, it's a great hotel and the breakfast has a variety of choices.

This Hotel is a half hour walk along the waterfront from the city centre. You can be lucky and find parking outside if youve hired a car. Not a very good place to rest. There are many loud weddings here so it's impossible to get any sleep. Rooms and bathrooms are not too clean, but there is no tragedy. Very nice service, delicious dinners and great koftas. Unfortunately, the pool is practically always closed.

We visited the pool on a very hot day and we had a very pleasant experience. The staff welcomed us on arrival, took our order and showed us a place to sit. It was peaceful and calm and the 5 euro entrance fee included a drink of our choice which is quite reasonable.

It's an old clean hotel with beautiful architecture and a small lift. Location is great — close to all amenities and easily accessible from and to the airport via the 01X bus. Room was adequate and nice staff. We didn't try the breakfast, so can't comment on that.

City Gate Hotel was an unexpected jewel! We chose it for its proximity to the airport, but it's like an oasis where it's located. The hotel was nice and clean. The breakfast was a surprise. It was a great breakfast and the location of the hotel was good to get to the airport quickly. You can’t walk to restaurants but they offer to call a delivery service. The owner was super friendly. We highly recommend this hotel if you need a hotel close by the airport.

Hotel is located in the best possible neghborhood- beautiful Agios Dimitrios street. Groundfloor was completely renovated. It looks high-tech, like a 4 star hotel but the rooms are the same like before. Overage but nice. No kettle , slippers and safe box. You can take hot water in the restaurant and use a safe box for free on the reception deak. Nice breakfast until 10:30.

The hotel is close to the cathedral of Agios Demetrios, but a little bit far from the white tower. The hotel is very clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. What an excellent hotel. The room was clean and cozy with very soft pillows to match. The front desk service was nothing but helpful and very professional. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was simple but delicious.

Excellent service . Very kind staff and a great location to get you right into the culture of the Thessaloniki. Was able to walk to the sea in like 30 min. Also there's a great restaurant about 10 meters from the hotel that has great gyros.

Everything is mediocre, the pictures are misleading, rooms don't look like that. Breakfast is ok but the tables are not enough for a hotel that size. By the way there is no swimming pool and the parking area that they say they have is always full. The view of the church from the balcony was good though.

The room was on the street and very noisy. We couldn't find a place for breakfast, we waited 45 minutes. It says there is a car park but they said park in the empty place on the street.

Friendly, relaxing 2 night stay in this centrally located city centre hotel. The bathroom had been recently refurbished to a high standard. The breakfast offered was very good with plenty of choice.
