We did enjoy our stay here. In our opinion this hotel had great central location, staff were among the nicest and friendliest, and the room was spotless. From our personal experience, we do recommend this hotel to others who want to travel to Thessaloniki.

I had a great time in this hotel. The location is very central, the possibility to use one of their free parking slots made the difference. Even if the breakfast is not included there were free coffee, tea and cookies all day long. Very good quality/price ratio!

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was nice. The night however was very exhausting. First of all, there was no curtain and the shutters were certainly not effective to stop the light. Additionally, if I could speak Greek, I would understand every conversation on street. We had the feeling that we were sleeping in a tent on the street. For a nice rest we don't recommend this hotel

Good value for money. The room was clean, big bathroom and shower, equipped fridge and air conditioning. However, a big reason why we chose this hotel was the free parking, but they failed to mention that they only have three spots. We had to pay 12 euro per night for separate parking which brought down the rating for me.

The hotel is in a central road in Thessaloniki. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room unbelievably roomy. Anything you require is around you. The only thing i can say that is negative is the lift is small, yet again you can use the stairs :-)

We stayed here just for one night after a wedding of friends. The location of the hotel is nice, especially the view over the sea. And we slept very good in comfortable beds. Only the bathroom was a bit dirty, cleaning definetely needs some improvement. But all together a good place to stay at!

Nothing really wrong; nothing really good. Old, worn out, third rate accommodation, typical of small Greek towns in the eighties. Nice view to the seafront and marina.

This Hotel is a half hour walk along the waterfront from the city centre. You can be lucky and find parking outside if youve hired a car. Hotel is located in the best possible neghborhood- beautiful Agios Dimitrios street. Groundfloor was completely renovated. It looks high-tech, like a 4 star hotel but the rooms are the same like before. Overage but nice. No kettle , slippers and safe box. You can take hot water in the restaurant and use a safe box for free on the reception deak. Nice breakfast until 10:30.

The hotel is close to the cathedral of Agios Demetrios, but a little bit far from the white tower. The hotel is very clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. Perfect place for short business stay.

Very pleasantly surprised! This is a famous hotel near the sea. Go downstairs and walk to the left to the seaside, and walk to the right to the pier. The hotel is close to the attractions, but you can walk to the attractions in the city center. The room has a kitchen and kitchenware, so you can cook. You can see the sea from the hotel window, you can take a look at the photos you took for reference

Very nice room and clean. In a central part of the city, next to the oil shops. The disadvantage is, apart from the noise of the street which you know when booking, there are two nightclubs opposite which are loud until 6 in the morning despite the triple windows.

I booked the hotel for a friend and he was very satisfied. He said the location was very good and it was very convenient to go to various attractions! But that night, several people in the next room got drunk and kept making noise until the early hours of the morning!

The landlord is very nice. I was in a hurry. The landlord helped me call a taxi at 1am. The location of the house is very good and convenient. You can see the sea if you walk forward. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the White Tower. I spent a lot of time I paid 7 euros and took a boat ride, which was really good.

There is a problem with their savage system. Asked them to repair my toilet as flush doesn’t work. They didn’t repair it. You are expecting more comfort after paying that amount of money but hotel is really old and I don’t think it’s value of the money has given

The location is near to the center. The rooms are small but for me it was fine. My room had a balcony and a small desk. The personal was very friendly and the reception is open also in the night.

Pleasant hotel in a good location. The only drawback is the tiny size of the lifts. Impossible to fit two people with cases inside.

Small rooms. Airco hardly managed to keep cool. For parking, you need to rely on parkings nearby that are overfilled and where you need to leave the keys.

Great experience! Very clean, great service and very polite staff. We stayed there for 2 days and they cleaned and changed all the towels and replaced the soap we used. One thing I really liked was that it was sound proof so we couldn't hear the neighbours. The location is excellent, on walking distance from the shopping streets and attractions. Lots of nearby restaurants and taverns. Clean room and public spaces, friendly staff, fairly priced and close to a large car park. The location is very good for city centre walks and shopping, in the heart of "ladadika" district. Very quiet for a good sleep. We went as a couple and were pleased from the hospitality.

Overall good experience at this hotel. It is walking distance to Aristotelous Square. Do ask for higher floor as hotel is surrounded by restaurants which is noisy at midnight or early morning. Hotel staffs are friendly. Will come again to stay if we visit again. In the room, there is no coffee making facilities. Basic room with local TV.

We stayed in their Ladadika Design building. The room was pretty and very clean, the hotel amenities were nice. Downsides: very small room for a group of 4, noisy during the evening until late - but those seem to be a constant in the center of Thessaloniki. Breakfast was filling and very good, plus the coffee from the Plaza café is great!

My bathroom had a leaking shower head which was fixed immediately however there is no door on the shower and water does not drain quickly enough if you have the pressure too high and floods the bathroom. This is a very suitably located hotel for a short stay in Thessaloniki. Our room was on the 4th floor facing inner yard. It was quiet and air conditioning worked perfectly. Unfortunately, I’m not able to rate the Hotel Luxembourg based on its qualities and facilities. I booked it for 1 night from April 8th 2025. But 2 hours prior to my check in to the hotel the Turkish Airlines informed me that they had to cancel my flight on April 9th and the only option available for me was the flight in the evening of the April 8th. The hotel is a real gem. The location is excellent, close to all main spots. The staff is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location is very good and quiet, very close to the scenic spots and the beach, 5 minutes away, it is great to watch the sunrise and sunset. The service is very good, and they specially brought a kettle, tea cups, and trays. There are many types of breakfast food. The taxi they booked is also very good, without any random charges. I just feel that the room is a little small.

Hotel is close to the train station and the harbour. Some staff were helpful, others less so. Even though the hotel was apparently recently renovated, it gives the feeling of being run-down - there were holes in the bathroom floor towel, the fittings on the shower pipes were loose, the toilet was installed skew with the toilet paper holder not properly fixed and hanging skew. The attention of the reception staff was fantastic, very attentive and excellent problem solving. The breakfast was surprisingly positive, since based on the comments I had read I was expecting something bad, but it far exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable, although somewhat small. I stayed here in October, and the weather was beautiful. I took one bus from the airport straight to the hotel and it was fast and easy to local. It's located about 10 - 15mins walk to the white tower and sea side. You can see the port and the cruise boat docking from the sea view. There are lots of places to eat. Room size OK, shower cubicle is very small No kettle in room for tea and it not free...

The room and the bathroom were very small, the bed uncomfortable and the front doors could not close properly. Otherwise, the room was clean. Breakfast was excellent Greek one. The staff were professional and kind. Low budget-low standard. Will not recommend this for business travel, rather for private not demanding travelers.

This was my fifth stay at this hotel, and as always, it was a great experience. The staff are polite and very helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location—just a short walk from the port and close to Aristotelous Square. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and I always feel welcome here. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Astoria! We were in such a good location, walking distance to the water and other attractions.
