We stayed here as part of a tour, and then due to a delay in returning home. Every one of the staff treated us like family. Nice rooms and amenities, great food, and a location a bit out of city central so it's not as crowded. Special thanks to Maria, whose kindness was much appreciated.

Great hotel, very nice rooms, clean and with a variety of pillows. Beds are great, temperature is good, bathroom amenities are the best! Parking lot is very large and free outside and there is an inside parking that you pay a fee for. Breakfast is excellent! It has absolutely everything and good quality foods. The staff is very friendly and helpful. 5 star service. The location is perfect, and the views are amazing. The hotel was in very good condition, the location is great. Only problem was with parking. The guy who take care for parking said you cannot park the car in front of hotel, but five minutes later there were 2-3 cars parked.

The staff is incredibly sweet and helpful. I was a clumsy, troublesome guest, I got dates mixed up, I couldn't get my key to work and they were patient with me and always kind. Breakfast is good! Big and well organised rooms with all the amenities, friendly staff, good breakfast. However bad soundproofing. Construction works in progress nearby so we woke up early and also the maids should be more quiet in the early mornings. The Met Hotel, despite being advertised as a five-star luxury establishment, does not fully meet the expectations that come with that rating. Nice hotel, but rooms are not comfortable. Nothing in the balcony of the rooms, even a chair. Even you choose the larger room and pay more, only the bathroom is getting bigger not the room. Holiday Inn Thessaloniki left a great impression on me. The service was excellent, and the rooms were very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the swimming pool, which had a fantastic view. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the city.

Holiday Inn is an upgraded experience in Greece. This hotel is marvelously appointed with marble and wood. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Some fixtures and furniture in rooms are in need of minor repairs. There is no swimming pool just small Jacuzzi, the hotel advertisement is misleading regarding swimming pool, very poor dining possibilities, and there is absolutely nothing around but industrial zone. Porto Palace Hotel's amenities make up for its location. It is modern, updated, and clean. The staff is helpful and the breakfast buffet has a wonderful variety of choices. I would choose to stay there again when in Thessaloniki.

All employees are young, dynamic and social people that makes you very welcome in this hotel. Very very basic accommodation - the whole hotel is in need of a facelift and a good clean. Room was dusty and smelled like smoke (had to take clarityn just to sleep), bed cover and carpet were covered in mystery stains 😬 The staff, however, were lovely and the hotel itself is conveniently located. We had the best experience their staff is really great - by mistake we made e wrong reservation (non-refundable) through booking and arrived there a day earlier. The manager at the reception didn't hesitate to call booking and made it possible for us to get a better room and a refund for the second night - although he could just blame us for our mistake. I stayed only for one night, the room i was given was clean and nice, but the view of the room was terrible. The room was located at the back of the building, it had only one small window without a balcony and the only thing u could see was some old storages and the back of the opposite building. Good, standard, old hotel at the west end of the popular shopping street of Tsimiski and near the passenger port. The building is 50 years old but well rennovated. It is impossible to unload your luggage at their entrance, as this area is constantly occupied by the same parked cars probably belonging to staff . The hotel is located in the centre of Thessaloniki. It is very loud outside during the night, so we closed the window and turned on the air conditioner, which is VERY LOUD like a truck. Im on bike trip all over Europe and I took that hotel. Im impressed by the 2 ladies at the reception. Very classy and elegant. And they know their job. I’m myself working in a Four Seasons hotel. They really make you feel welcome. Room is nice in the center. Very good for one night.

Located right at the city center, rooms were quite comfy, although there wasn't a double bed, only two singles put together. Breakfast was decent although a little bit outdated. Reception was exceptional and always helpful and smiling.

Terrific economic hotel with a great location. 15 minute walk to the sea and countless nice restaurants in the area.

What a great little hotel! The rooms are very clean. The bed is very comfortable. Everything is in good repair. The neighborhood is not so noisy. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast buffet has everything one could want. You walk two blocks and you are at the sea. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes nearby. I will definitely stay here again.

Metropolitan Hotel has an excellent location within walking distance of key landmarks. The rooms are clean and modern but what impressed me the most was their pet friendly amenities. Absolutely recommend!

I stayed there for one night and everything was great. The rooms are renovated, modern with comfortable beds and the bathrooms are spacious full of facilities. The heating system was perfect and during the home night we had warm in the bedroom and the view from the 8th floor was spectacular. The breakfast was tasteful and there was a wide variety of food. The toilet flush would sporadically stop working, causing inconvenience. Additionally, the air conditioning system seemed unreliable, leaving the room uncomfortably warm. On the other hand, good location, clean and polite stuff.

Excellent service . Very kind staff and a great location to get you right into the culture of the Thessaloniki. Was able to walk to the sea in like 30 min. Also there's a great restaurant about 10 meters from the hotel that has great gyros.

I’ve booked a room via booking.com at the hotel. There at the reception there is a receptionist whom expected to welcoming guest has any smile or kind word .She directly says ; check-in is at 14:00 hours ! Ok although we had known that thus as you come back on time for to check-in I felt sane icy behaviors . Wifi at rooms so weak even it is not working !! The room I’ve been given has no view nothing...

Amazing authentic rooms, quality service, good wifi, rich breakfast, but no car parking, 24h parking places nearby costs 20 euro.

Great location. Not really a family place, better suited for couples. Finding a parking spot in any of the garages near by is a major pain on weekends. Hotel is ok, our room was lovely but the windows were not facing towards outdoors but rather to some kind of a inner gazebo or whatever, so we had no actual fresh air and that felt weird.

From the moment of booking till picking up my luggages after check-out, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and the room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. I stayed at a superior room and to my chance I think it was the one with the best view. Breakfast is satisfactory and delicious, with adequate choices. Had the most amazing stay at Hotel Nikopolis. From booking the hotel until check out, the staff were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Upon booking I asked how I could make the stay a bit special for a birthday and they suggested a cake made from the chef on the day delivered to the room, which was the most delicious cake ever!
