We stayed at Electra Palace for 3 days in August. On our first night, we dined in the rooftop restaurant, which had superb vies of the sea and square below. The food was excellent, as was the service

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, and the views are amazing. No on site parking, but the parking lot is literally behind the hotel on opposite corner, which is a 1 min walk

Rooms are a bit too small from what we're used to in other 5* hotels and keep in mind that "double beds" are 2 single mattresses put together, so we had to ask them to bring an actual double mattress

The only criticisms we found were that the tiles in the bathroom were like glass when wet, and the shower mat was small for the area, and great care was needed when walking from the shower cubicle

Otherwise the rooms are well design, recently refurbished, with all of the amenities. The highlight is of course the rooftop and the pool, as well as the inside pool in the spa area

The prices in the restaurant and bar at the rooftop restaurant were better than most of the bars we visited in the city. The rooms were very nice, comfortable, and spotlessly clean

A little bit outside of the busy centre, this hotel is a wonderful oasis of tranquility, luxury and excellent service. An excellent breakfast, and a romantic dinner in the outside restaurant completed the impression

We loved the swimming pool, too

This is our second stay here, however what is a little disappointing, on this occasion the management have adapted a policy of charging extra for Breakfast items ( fried eggs, omelettes, certain coffees)

We stayed three nights in a junior suit. The hotel is just outside of city center. The building has a character and very well maintained. Our room was big enough and well equipped

This seems quite strange for a high end 5 star hotel, I would have given 5 stars had it not been for for the penny pinching policy at Breakfast

I recently had the pleasure of attending a conference at the Met Hotel and the experience was outstanding. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, the facilities were top-notch, and the food was delicious

The inside pool was so relaxing it had a hot tub🛁 and a large pool the service there gave you towels and it was quiet there. Also the hotel had salons on the reception with a piano

Room was quite clean and well equipped. It was good to have shuttle from hotel to city center. But lackings; parking payment is not logic although become hotel guest

For breakfast, it could better to have "no pork - sausage"

The rooms, although priced highly, do not justify the cost; there was an unpleasant odor noticeable in the space, and the walls are poorly insulated, making it easy to hear everything from neighboring rooms

The lounge is a large space open all day for beverages and small bites and more substantial food in the evening. I wish the hotel would enforce a dress code as occasionally guests would come in barefoot and in swim dress

Highly recommend! Note: Location is far from the city center, which was preferred by us. Hotel offers a shuttle service to and from which is 5 stars in my opinion. Hotel offers shuttle service from airport as well

Arrived in Thessaloniki to a warm embrace from the weather. Despite effective air-conditioning, the welcome on arrival was warmer than the weather outside. Simply felt valued as a first time guest at this hotel

We enjoyed the peaceful room, beautiful grounds and had dinner at Ambrosia, the food was DELICIOUS! My husband had lemon pork chop and I had traditional Moussaka. In the morning the shuttle was waiting for us at 6AM

Good and bad like anything else: The Good: Staff is kind and attentive. Hotel is 5 min walk from the sea and 10 min from the main tourist shops and cafes. The hotel has guarded car parking which feels necessary out here

I didn’t like the attitude of the staff, when I forgot my earrings & asked for them to be posted to me, it wasn’t done, I had to organise my own courier when ousting would have easier & quicker

The minuses: rooms, location I stayed in Room 169, and I could hear everything. Individuals walking in the room above me. The individual snoring in the room next to me. Whenever someone moved a chair in a nearby room

While the room, itself, was problematic, so too was the location. The hotel has no shuttle service to the city centre, and walking the 4. 1 km one way got old very quickly

Great hotel. The receptionist was polite and the registration was quick. The rooms are clean. The location of the hotel is near the train station and the waterfront is within walking distance.

It is in the main lobby and there is not enough space for everybody. In the two days we were there we had to wait more than 15 min to get seated

Just a f/p accomodation. It's in the city center. A little old but clean rooms and the bathroom. The breakfast was ok.

Negative: Low price/value ratio, very old elevators which seems unproperly maintained (severe side moving and noise during operation). Check out hours uncomfortable (11. 00 am), leaking water inside the bathroom

Our family just came back from Athen. I felt sorry that I book an extra room, a luxury living sea view suite at Daios luxury living hotel at Thessaloniki, for our Thanksgiving evening

The staff is top-notch, the breakfast is delicious (not the largest, but more than enough to choose from, and the food is always fresh) with fresh orange juice to start the day, and the cleanliness of the rooms is unmatched

I also booked a two bedrooms apartment, few buildings further down, on the same street for the same night. The apartment has gorgeous sea view, with full kitchen, laundry and washer facilities and nice living room space

I had an excellent experience. First they gave us an upgrade to the room which was amazing. Second, everyone that works there is so professional in their job. Mini bar FREE !!! Food very professionally cooked and served

Very good location, good staff, clean rooms, not luxury but enough and good. If you want to düscover city, just 15-20 min walk will be enough for bars cafees and very good greek restaurants

In the main square you can find always busses for all the main attraction of the city The room was very nice, clean and without any noice even if was standing on the main road. The personnel was very nice and helpful
