Great stay, my second year in a row here in Budapest. Will return. It's a lovely hotel, unusual (in a good way) decor, great breakfast service incl. a picnic bag option for airport departure if you've an early flight when checking out.
They used to have a treat on arrival (glass of prosecco at reception and baked goods in the room) but missed that on this occasion. The rooms are very warm in the winter so I had to keep a window open as the a/c wouldn't go below 26 degrees Celsius. Said it to reception when checking out and was advised it was the winter setting.
Lovely bar and drinks menu, pianist plays there Fri and Sat nights. Good Internet signal, massive comfortable beds and the rooms are kept very clean. Huge shower 🚿 plenty hot water. The breakfast room is beautiful and the waiting staff were very helpful and attentive.
Located close to the parliament building and the shoes by the Danube memorial to WW2. Great location for a walk over the chain bridge to Buda, or checking out the Christmas markets in Pest etc.
Definitely would recommend.

I stayed at this hotel recently and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing right from the moment I arrived. There were no employees available to assist with my bags, which is not what I expected from a hotel of this standard.
When I approached the reception, the staff’s attitude was unwelcoming and not attentive to my needs, and the service was very poor .
A good first impression is crucial, and the lack of professionalism left me feeling undervalued as a guest.
I believe hotels should prioritize making guests feel welcome and supported from the moment they arrive, and this hotel fell short of that basic expectation. I hope management takes steps to improve their service.

Great locations, 4mins walk to the Parliament building and M2, one block away to the river bank, 8mins walk to the Chain bridge. The hotel is not clouded, the room and bathroom is spacious. I will definitely stay here again.

Loved staying here with my husband during a Christmas trip to Budapest. The building is beautiful and classy, location is great and the hotel is quiet. We were welcomed with champagne and the staff was very nice. Clean rooms and nice decor.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The parliament and the Danube bank are a few steps away. The hotel room is really five-star! Cleanliness is very good and the size and layout of the room was perfect. The bathroom part is at a sufficient distance from the bed. The wall decoration, which is a built-in wardrobe, is sensational.

Wow...no words can describe the experience.Very clean,very comfortable very high quality hotel.Service was over the top,everyone was very helpful.Great location,next to the Parliament and a short walk to Fashion Street Budapest. Glass of champagne on arrival at check in. Comfy beds,high quality room, gorgeous bathroom,well equipped:coffee machine,clothes steamer,safe,minibar,large TV etc. Very nice restaurant and bar. Definitely coming back👏🥇

So after having read the reviews here I thought I would talk about my experience here. The rooms are very spacious and the bed is huge and fantastic, the only thing to say about the room is that it was a bit warm during the hottest days. The service was fantastic in my opinion, you could ask the reception about anything and they were always willing to help. There was always 1-3 people in the reception which was nice. The hotel spa is great, definitely recommend starting the day there.
I am some that longs to stay in bed until 13:00 and there was no problem asking the staff to clean the room a bit later so I could stay in bed for longer

The best hotel I've ever been.
Kate was super nice and helpful, another lady was a kind of rude. But I see as exceptional.
There is another person Spanish speaker, super sympathetic as well. I was planning to walk at night but I preferred to stay in the hotel.
Amazing place, such a wonderful palace. The room is super clean, and many good quality amenities. The service room is super delicious as well. But the best is the breakfast, they provide a short menu as in a restaurant for brunch, I loveeed my omelette and avocado toast.
I made massage as well and the spa is amazing. The gym is small, but good equipment 24/7!
I would definitely come back and try other hotel from them.

We decided to spent our last night at Aurea Palace, we are not disappointed, beautiful luxurious. One of the best hotels in Budapest.

Lovely stay here! Was for my boyfriend’s birthday and there were balloons and cake inside the room when we entered. Double room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was totally worth it!
