Exe Center Hotel

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 6 days. The staff was helpful when needed but were also quite pushy at times with for example check out times or with the cleaning service which we woke up to a few times by knocking on the door. The rooms are really outdated for a 4 stars, the bathtub is high and I have heard other guests complain about it at the front desk, and the staff told them they didn’t have many rooms with walk-in showers or anything easier for them to access the showers! We also had problems with the shower head and the drain, we had to find the specific point to get the drain to work, and the shower head was also leaking water the whole time. We first stayed in the second floor and had really bad internet, impossible to use! When we complained they told us they knew about the problem, but then changed our room one floor up, which worked a bit better, but still a whole process of connecting to it every time you wanted to use the internet. The views of course were fantastic, but not the air conditioning in the room. It was 24 degrees in the room, and we couldn’t change it. So we had to keep the windows open all day long! And there is no soundproofing either. Windows closed or open you are still going to hear the cars outside and the ambulance every time they drive by. Of course I expect this from a hotel that is central, but it really shouldn’t be as loud as it was. Poor instructions in how the tv worked and the drains in the bathroom. Overall experience was mid going to low, wouldn’t come back to this hotel again. Don’t think this deserves 4 stars to be honest…
