This hotel is in an excellent central location. Everything is within a short walking distance from tourist sites, restaurants, cafes and transport etc

The staff os friendly, the rooms are very nice, the food is delicious and the spa is pretty cool. Not great as location, but it is worthy of a visit or even more 😊

Staff and restaurant was excellent. A little far away from the main city and station, but it is a really easy and delightful walk. Especially since Budapest lacks any inclines

You can exchange currency in the hotel and there are several bus and train stations near it

Small but adequate hotel in a very handy location. Just by drop off point for shuttle bus from airport. Direct bus, 30 mins, very cheap, every 30 mins.

I am happy that I chose Hotel Thomas for our city break in Budapest. First of all the hotel is very close to all the tourist attractions that's why we were able to visit all the attractions on foot

The hotel has 2 swimming pools (Olympic pool) in which I could swim daily. The hotel is close to bus 9, you can reach most attractions very quickly and you don't need a rental car

This is one of the few hotels on the Buda west bank side of the Danube. I stay here every time I'm in Budapest and nowhere else. With trams stopping yards from the front door, is easy to get to

There are also less pleasant parts: the noise of the tram that passes by the hotel, but in the evening/night they are quite rare, so it is not really a problem

We just spent 2 nights at the Baron. The room was lovely, more like a studio flat! Breakfast included in the price, with great choice of food! Everything was spotlessly clean

No heating and not hot water in their apartaments

It is a typical city hotel, not bad for the price. The staff are friendly and rooms have all the amenities including air conditioning, free wifi, toiletries, towels, hair dryer, toothbrush, shampoo and soap

Location wise it was perfect, you can find many restaurants within 5 mins of walk, franchise like burger king, McDonald's can be found too!! It is a hotel in the city center, within walking distance to everywhere. You can get there from the airport by bus 100E for 5. If you want to use a taxi, it costs about 32 euros

The food was surprisingly delicious here, kind of homemade. And the terrace is surrounded with beautiful flowering bushes and a well-tended lawn. It was good to sit and sip the coffee

We were also able to take some wedding pictures on the bank of the Danube next to the hotel. There were plenty of car parking spaces in front of the hotel which was very important for us when choosing a wedding venue
