My friend booked a room for us at this hotel for the weekend straight before my 40-th Birthday. We"ve spent 2 nights here, and i was absolutely satisfied with everything! We had breakfast inclueded with a wide selection of fresh options. The hotel is beautiful, i especially loved the old fashioned furniture everywhere. Our room was really nice, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Alt the stuff of this hotel were kind and friendly. Special mention for the recepcionists on arrival and on the checkout as well (unfortunately did not ask their names). One of the young girl was extremely friendly, kind and alwasy spread a smile, we had a really nice chat. As i needed to head off to the train station next day early morning, the day before i asked her some sandwiches to be packed possibly by 7: 15 am,as i could not have time for a proper breakfast. An other kind, young male receptionist was on duty on my check out day, and as soon as he saw me downstairs at 7: 00 am, he brought me a little bag. To my surprise i even got a bottle of mineral water as well beside my three sandwiches! I would definietly come back again and highly recommend it if you want to experience a very relaxing, nice atmosphere filled with kindness, helpfullness from the staff!

Amazing value for money! Hotel Karin in Budapest exceeded our expectations—clean, comfortable, and with excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. For the price, you won’t find a better stay in Budapest. Highly recommended!

The group split between the two Karin Hotels, both several blocks away from each other and far from the center of Budapest, an area not recommended at night. My room had a large bed with no room to climb in from either side; you had to climb in from your feet. The temperature couldn't be regulated, so the heat was stifling. The breakfast was terrible: coffee, milk, chorizo, bacon, salty cheese, scrambled eggs, apples, and pears; there was no sweet treats. The first night, one of the beds had a broken box spring, which we immediately reported to reception. To our surprise, when we checked out, they told us they'd keep 100 euros of the deposit for a lost key (which they force you to take with you because the second hotel doesn't have a reception where you can leave it). We remind you that there was also a person who had to sleep one night on the mattress on the floor and they told us that they didn't know anything and that the guy had broken it, something uncertain because we all check the condition of the rooms when we enter (we know that hotels try to keep the deposit as low as possible). A disastrous hotel, with terrible management.

Hotel Karin in Budapest exceeded all expectations with its warm hospitality and exceptional service. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful—special thanks to Monica for going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast was varied and delicious, perfect to start the day. The beds were extra cozy, offering the best night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. We truly felt at home and would gladly return!

Far from main attractions but close to walking green areas and AquaWorld - for a short trip with small kids it's enough. Rooms are clean, quiet and convenient, breakfast fresh with a choice of cold and hot dishes and cornflakes. 5 stars for very nice and helpful English speaking staff.

We stayed there for 3 nights. It was not bad, but we expected better place.
The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, no problem. Bud breakfast was very weak. Coffe was not drinkable, it was awful. The choice of breads was also very poor, no butter available (only margarine).
In the hotel you can hear everything from one room to another one. We knew exactly when our neighbours were on the toilet. For two nights we had very loud neighbours, so it was not comfortable.
The wifi in hotel is very bad, it was not possible to use. So wifi is available, but not strong enough.
Good is, that just in front of the hotel you have bus stop, so you can easily go to the center of Budapest.

Very nice and clean structure. Large rooms and very comfortable beds. The room and bathroom were cleaned every day, location not very central but convenient to reach the center by public transport, there is a bus stop right in front of the pedestrian entrance of the Hotel. I highly recommend it

I was in Hotel Karin on May 13 and 14, 2023. The arrangement and cleanliness are excellent. However, the room where my wife and I are staying (6/3) is located above the laundry room of the hotel, it has no windows and there is no way to ventilate the room, because the use of air conditioning is charged separately, and there is no remote control for the air conditioning in the room. It was unbearably hot and stuffy in the room, even though the outside temperature was 11 degrees, without the possibility of fresh air. I don't understand how a hotel has three stars when it offers a room without windows and ventilation, i.e. rents such a room and forces you to pay separately for the use of air conditioning because you have other options to get fresh air. An unpleasant experience, especially when you know that even prisoners in prisons have a window.
