Terrible Experience !

I have to talk about one incident. I found this hotel by chance, and when i arrived the boy in the reception was very polite. However, the manager and boss was terrible ! Bad mannered at best, she came inside with rage and she was annoyed that i asked her several things. I have to say i was from a trip of 15 hours. She started barking like i was not a client but who knows what and when told her that I'm not allowing her to raise her voice on me, she started cutting me, yelling and threatening to call the police. All and all because I talked and didn't allow her to talk to me like she is my boss. Again, i was the client who payed to stay at her hotel. I have to say one thing only, I feel bad for the kid and anyone else who has to work under a boss like that. Unprofessional, awful and bad mannered !

The worst hotel I've ever been. It's not safety. The chambermaid stole money from my wallet in the room until we were outside. We inform the hotel manager but she didn't want to help us and send us to police. We complained in the police but without result. Don't make our mistake to go there.

PROS
- Rooms were just about the right space for two people.
- Location is fantastic as you only require to walk a few minutes to the city center.
- Breakfast was very good for what you pay for.

CONS
- One of the front desk agents wasn't as kind as the others. You'd ask a question and he'd answer in very short sentences to cut you off immediately.
- Housekeeping! I had to ask the reception for a housekeeper to actually come clean the room and restock bathroom supplies. They do things at a surface level, and not properly! The room was never swept and/or mopped even once in the week we were there, making me believe that this is the norm in Hungary. They don't accept tips, but I think this isn't just a matter of culture, but also laziness. Housekeeping by itself would make this review a zero, but I prefer to avoid that since the hotel was excellent otherwise.

If you have any problems, make sure it's in the morning because after that the reception staff cannot resolve anything. The hotel is very noisy; you can hear everything from other rooms and from the street. The hotel's post on Expedia says "Daily housekeeping service." On the second day, I left my two towels on the floor to be changed, and when I returned, I found the same (used) towels hanging in the bathroom. On the third day of our stay, we left all the towels on the floor and put up the sign for the room to be cleaned. When we returned to the hotel in the afternoon, we found the beds made but the wet towels still on the floor. We immediately went to the reception to ask for fresh towels, and they first told us that towels are changed every three days. Since it was already the third day of our stay, we kept insisting, to which the receptionist responded that he had no access to the towels. On top of this, during our entire stay, they NEVER changed the bed linens.
