Quaint hotel. Steps from the train station. Nice breakfast. Very hot water. Nice staff.
Cons: no elevator- but they will help you with your luggage up. Showers are open glass so no privacy when sharing a room.

We were quite disappointed with our stay at this hotel.
The overall cleanliness was poor — the hallway stairs were dirty, and the old, almost-black carpet looked terrible and should really be replaced. During the day, laundry bags were left scattered in the hallways, which created an untidy impression.
Our room had a bad smell, the bed was extremely hard, and the fridge barely worked. The shower had no proper door, just a single pane of glass, which left the bathroom floor soaked after every use.
Breakfast was very basic and underwhelming.
The only positives were the friendly staff and the daily housekeeping, which included making the bed and providing fresh towels.
For the price we paid (€308.16 for 3 nights), the stay simply wasn’t worth it.

Great location - walkable to all attractions.
No elevator! Quite annoying with heavy suitcases, or after lunch... 😀
Mini-fridge, comfortable bed and room.
Good AC.
The bath is really stupid! Clear glass in the middle of the room - I don't get it.

Excellent location next to the train station and close walking distance to almost everything. Staff are very attentive and helpful.
However, be aware there’s NO ELEVATOR in the hotel and front desk is not 24 hours, only until 8PM, which is not very convenient.

Location is good, however breakfast is very poor, quality of rooms is very low. Door in shower was broken, blanket looked terrible and smelled stinky, AC looked very dirty.

This is the best stay I had during my recent trip to Italy.
We got a room right next to the dining room, so it's very convenient for breakfast time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. A short walk from the S.M Novella train station. We can walk to all major sites from there too.

Hotel is just 2 minutes walk from the train station. Which is very convenient. It was so hot on the day and they filled the fridge in the room with water and drinks which was so nice 👍
Hotel reception closes at 8pm so you are given the code to get in the premises. The place itself is very dated and needs updating. There is no lift so you have to climb the stairs with the luggage, although we were offered by Khaled at the reception to take our bag to the room but we were ok and carried the bags ourselves.
Breakfast was very basic but enough for the morning, only thing I would say if they try to keep vegetarian options separately then this will be nice as everything was together and usually staff don't have information which one is suitable for vegetarian.
We only stayed there for one night so we were ok with that but staying for more days need to have a bit more arrangements.

Close to all the landmarks and very accessible. The pizza is next door and the train station is a 2 minute walk. Breakfast and room cleaning was very good. Also gave us a map with landmarks and things to do.

The location couldn't be better, near SM Novella train station and a short walk to most of the significant sites in Florence. The rooms have a traditional flavor, are clean and have large windows. Breakfast is on the first floor (one flight up from ground), and is uncomplicated but charming. Staff are extremely helpful, and are quick to provide excellent local recommendations on request. To be aware of: you'll need to be able to climb some stairs. The rooms (though not common areas) have air-conditioning that keeps things comfortable though they struggle somewhat in extremely high temperatures.

Great location, only 5 minutes walk from the train station and less than 30 minute walk to most of the tourist/sightseeing places in Florence. The hotel was able to hold our bags, and took them up to our room for us. The hotel did not have an elevator, and there were 4 floors.
Breakfast was free and included coffee, juice, water, pastries and meats/cheeses.
The only thing that was a bit odd is there was no separation between the shower and the room. The toilet was separated from the room with a door but the shower and sink were just there with no separation. Luckily I was staying with my partner so this wasn’t really an issue, but if you are a family with older kids it may be odd to shower infront of your family, as the shower was glass and there was no door - meaning water got on the floor.
