Excellent, safe location five minutes walk from the main railway station. Relatively close to city centre, 15 minutes walk . Hotel staff were friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean and quiet, breakfast was standard with a decent amount of choice . Would recommend for anyone travelling by train in Italy. I would stay there again

The worst hotel ever, I don’t know why they are rated 4 star. They should be 1 star. Once we arrived, we didn’t take the double bed we have requested through booking and they are so rude. They gave us a dirty room and tried to separate the bids as they say this is only the room they have.

Polite and friendly staff. But there is no one to make you a cappuccino in the afternoon.We asked for help on how to get to Bologna airport and the answer was that they would call us a taxi. Provided that we are close to the train station and bus stops... Well, that's the situation...

Conveniently located 10 minutes walk from the city train station and 15 to 20 minutes walk from the main attractions of Florence.
The streets nearby aren't the cleanest and there were a few homeless people sleeping rough near. Large groups of non-local ethnicities gathered early evening and it didn't feel as safe walking back to the hotel.
The hotel is right next to a tram way with no sound proofing so you'll hear the trams all night. The air con unit was located under the window, giving the option of closing the curtains or having the air conditioning running. The room was spacious enough to have suitcases out and still move around.
Breakfast is a self service buffet, with other options such as gluten-free available on request. The reception lobby has iced lemon water available for service service.
Overall felt like a reasonable 3 star hotel.

My family and I stayed for 3 days. The location is very convenient because it's walking distance from the train station, but there's no sound proofing. You can hear trains go by periodically, which really didn't bother me but I can see how it would bother others. The front desk staff was always really nice and helpful. I'm told by friends it also has a really nice smoking section outside.

Clean and good AC. 12-15 minutes walk to old City centre. Not far from train station, wich isn't a very nice area, but not dangerous! We preferred staying outside the old centre, so for us it was perfect. Nice breakfast and a lovely building. Nice big bathroom as well.

We booked this hotel for 3 nights in July. July in florence is Hot!
We checked in and went directly to the city. When we returned and had our shower, we noticed that our AC is not working properly. We called the receptionist and told them.o our problem, they only offered to give us a fan!
3 nights on a hot day using a fan! We did not accept specially since the hotel is not cheap and we paid a big amount for our stay.
After some time, they finally agreed to change us our room to another one.
For us, they should have directly propose to change our room specially that for them they said that they cannot do anything about the AC and cannot fix it not directly and not the next day! So the only solution for them was a fan!
After our room change, our stay was enhanced and we spend a nice time in Florence.

They made us feel right at home! We really enjoyed staying here. It is really close to the train station and within walking distance of so many things! The room was great and had great views. Their people were so friendly and helpful! We will definitely be returning when we go to Florence!

The room is very clean and the location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the train station. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is quite good. The price is not cheap, but considering that hotels in Florence are generally very expensive, it is acceptable.
The only downside is that the soundproofing is not great, especially in rooms on the first floor—you can even hear the reception's phone ringing.

I was promised a room with 4 beds. The room only has three beds. When I showed the front desk my confirmation of a room with 4 beds they told me the room I reserved wasn’t available. I asked for a second room and was told they are sold out. I am traveling with four adults and we do not fit comfortably in the room. The room is too small, too old and too warm to be enjoyable. The pictures on the website are not accurate. The hotel looks beautiful on line. It is old and dated in real life.
