Mh Florence Hotel & Spa

The hotel staff could have been more attentive and polite during my stay. The room had an issue with mosquitoes which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. The bathroom towels had an unpleasant odor, and I noticed some spider webs in the shower area that should have been cleaned more thoroughly. Overall, the hotel fell short of meeting my expectations for the price paid. I would recommend the management address these cleanliness and customer service concerns to improve the guest experience.

Avoid like the plague! 1 star is generous for the lack of customer service and communication received from this hotel. My parents booked a city break to Florence a couple of months back to be enjoyed with friends. They booked via Love Holidays and selected this hotel due to wanting to stay in the same hotel as their friends. The flight went smoothly but upon arriving to the hotel and speaking to the front desk, the receptionist told my mum that her booking had been cancelled. You can imagine this is not the best start to such a short city break or any holiday for that matter! The receptionist was rude and told my mum that she had been the one to cancel even though she had no emails & no correspondence from either the hotel or Love Holidays. When my mum questioned the receptionist he looked sheepish, ignored her and refused to help and continued to help check in other guests. There was no sense of going above and beyond to find a room so they could remain with the rest of the party nor an apology for that matter. Having been left in the corner of the lobby frantically panicking about what to do, the receptionist did everything they could to avoid eye contact. Thankfully Love Holidays were superb, once my mum called them they had told her that the hotel had cancelled her booking but failed to update Love Holidays therefore not arranging an alternative. Love Holidays reimbursed my parents for a hotel which they had to find on booking.com later that day. If you are thinking of booking this hotel with a package holiday then please be wary as I would hate for this to happen to you!

1. There is a round head middle aged man with beard at reception. He will look at you as if you were rubbish, talk to you with the attitude of 'I have better things to do', 'I don't want to talk to you' and ' I'm the boss here'. He is always busy doing something else when you are talking to him. You will not be noted the opening time of breakfast and spa need reservation. My Asian friends, please don't insult yourselves by checking in here.
2. There are too many mirrors in the room, making the Fengshui of the room not good.
（No offence to other staffs in the hotel, they were very nice. Due to the insufficient number of samples observed, I cannot draw the conclusion that he is racist. But he was at least unfriendly to me.）
