Silver Hotel & Motel in Milan

For us, this was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. The overnight stay was a gift, so we thought we would treat ourselves to one additional night. We arrived on Sunday, and the check-in went smoothly at first — until we found out that we couldn’t have our two-course dinner that evening. Since there was nothing appealing nearby, we took the metro to Milan for dinner.

The next day, we wanted to have the dinner that was included in our booking. When we arrived for the welcome drink, nobody paid attention to us — the TV seemed more important. For the menu, we were only allowed to choose from two limited dishes, and later we were presented with a bill for our drink and a service charge of €4 per person. We complained, as this should have been included in the package according to the voucher. The waitress then said it was fine, that we only needed to pay for the drink, which she charged to our room.

As soon as we got back to our room and wanted to enjoy the whirlpool, the phone started ringing — six times in a row. Shortly afterward, the staff appeared at our door, insisting that we pay immediately. Please note that everything had already been paid in advance except for the last drink.

We did not feel welcome here, nor like guests who wanted to enjoy their stay and experience Milan. This location is a disaster BAD SMELL, and no sense of hospitality instead,guests are treated poorly and bothered.

The hotel is awful. It smells like cigarettes in every room. It is not clean enough in the rooms. The location is far away from the city centre and there is no shuttle to the airport. The staff were friendly but I don’t recommend it at all.

Horrible location. Very minimal accommodation in the bedroom: no coffee machine, no tea pot. Tiny tablets of soap, same kind you get in a motel 6. Depending on the room you get, you need to walk outside (in the rain...) to go to the bedroom from the reception.
Outrageous price for what you get.

This is not a hotel , it’s equivalent to a motel. I professional staff. AC wasn’t working , had to call 3 times and they were controlling it from front desk. All night AC was making loud rumbling noise and we couldn’t sleep. They wouldn’t allow us to check out or even discount the inconvenience. Also the location is almost one hour from the city which on Travelocity this was not made apparent. We paid $100 per day for taxi to and from city .
