I stayed 8 nights for a business trip. The location isn’t very central but it’s not bad either, 15 min taxi ride from most tourist spots. The hotel was just renovated, it’s qualitative and much better from what you would expect from a Marriott in the US. The rooms are large enough, bathrooms are nice. Service is ok. Food from room service was good. The beds are somehow not very comfortable, maybe it’s just me , I found the mattress to be a bit hard. Sound proofing is not bad but not 100%, bring earplugs if you sleep like a cat. I have had various experiences in more luxurious hotels in Milan but I will happily return to the Marriott for the location and modern feel. While I was there, hotel was still under renovation, no noise but some amenities closed like the gym, and they did let me know ahead of time

I believe the hotel is being renovated but it didn’t really affect me much. I’m guessing I was in a new room - ok size. Clean with everything I needed. Tea/coffee, stocked mini bar that worked well and actually chilled things! Gowns, slippers and amenities. Only a shower though - I prefer a bath and no shelve to put your things on in the shower. Very convenient grocery store across the road.

Worst Marriot hotel ever! Similar experience with some of the travelers who gave bad ratings. Will give 0 star if there were such an option. We booked the family suite at level 7, arrived and checked in at 7pm, felt the room was pretty warm but rushed to have dinner. Upon returning from dinner, turns out the AC wasn't working. Recept initially refused a room change and gave us 2 fans instead. Unhappy with the value of service and amenities we are getting for the price paid (since we will be staying for 3 nights), we asked again for change of room, the other recept lady offered us 2 smaller rooms which are connected for the price of one. Turns out they were just 2 adjacent rooms, but not connected. It could have been a miscomm, but unpleasant experience nonetheless, especially when we were made to be the ones causing the stuff inconvenience by reporting on the AC and requesting for room change 'after 10pm, which is late and no one is available to service our request'. The sheer audacity of them implying that it is our fault and not theirs for giving us a lousy room in the first place. Other negative experience include: 1. Faulty tap in suite. Only hot water flowed out when turned on. 2. Phone cable was loose/faulty. Took a while to get it working and called recept 3. Called reception about change of room. Was told that someone will give us the key cards to the new room and helped us move our luggage. Waited 15min and no one turned up. Called recept to check, and they ask if we wanted to come down to collect the keys??!! I thought you said 15min ago someone will come up? Where's the communication between you and your colleagues? 4. Ended up settling in the new, smaller room after midnight. Had to get an additional bed to be set up. Kids were extremely exhausted and slept late. Definitely not a pleasant stay at all. 5. Bed sheets and pillows smelled really bad, like they were washed without using detergent. 5 -Star hotel with 0 star service.

as an elite titanium for life member, I had a solid experience and I know what to expect. Not this time. My room was on the first floor, not on the seventh as my colleague who checked in before me. The lady at the desk, very busy doing other things and giving me poor attention, had a condescending attitude. When I asked about the fitness gym, I was told that it was 5 minutes away, which did not meet my needs of training in the early morning. The next day, my room was not cleaned, despite the fact that the “do not disturb” sign was turned off. The cleaning lady showed up at 6 PM. The room, recently refurbished, had a noisy and malfunctioning air conditioning. On January of this year, the breakfast was excellent with omelette made to order, this time it was standard buffet. To complete the picture, the rate was high, up to 600 € x day and value for money poor, considering that there was no lounge. Come on Marriott, you could do better!

We chose the hotel mainly because of the price point and we were a bit apprehensive due to the negative reviews. Fortunately, our experience was mostly positive. Good things first - our room was ready on our arrival which was vert useful given i was a bit unwell and had flown over 10 hours. The room allotted to us was the renovated one - so we were happy about that but I understand that older rooms were larger - wish they had retained the size of the rooms. The breakfast was very good and the omelet was exceptional. The staff at breakfast was amazing. The lobby bar was used as the venue for happy hour - there is no executive lounge. The food was served at the table itself as a tapas plate. The prosecco they served at happy hour was good. Gym was just one room - which means one treadmill, one cycle, one bench and dumbbells - all in one room. I wish they had used 3 rooms - one for cardio and one for strength and one for floor workout. Location is a bit far from everything and hence one needs to use transport. Nearest metro station is Wagner - 750 m from the hotel 10 min walk. But overall the hotel is value for money and I would stay here again

We stayed in a renovated rooms and it was amazing and modern design but the shower area has no water stopper or either shower door everytime you will use the shower area the water goes out to the bathroom floor and the rooms smell was smell painting. The breakfast was amazing and the staff Monica and Filipino guy was attentive in all what we needs. Front desk staff wasn't really approachable when we checked in and they never mentioned or either confirmed which rooms we booked. We will be back again.

The hotel is undergoing a phased renovation. Value is good for Milan although it's not that close to the Duomo area - a bit on the outskirts. But then the cost is lower than the more central hotels. Stayed in a newly renovated room with modern tile bathrooms with walk in showers and contemporary style bedroom and good beds and working aircon in April. A couple of suggestions. The shower area needs a tray added to the wall to put your own toiletries like face wash etc. The rooms are quite small compared to the pictures of the old rooms there is hardly any space around the beds. There is a big chaise lounge which takes up too much space. It's unnecessary and I suggest they remove this from the room so there is space to open your luggage. The hotel lobby and restaurant are still the old fashioned style. Had dinner in the restaurant which was quite good. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of items One mistake is they put the tongs on the food itself. Provide some plates to put the tongs for hygiene reasons. The staff is efficient especially a lady at check in who is helpful and deals efficiently with issues.

The room is clean and hygienic. It takes about 16 minutes to walk to the subway station. There are supermarkets nearby. It is generally convenient.
