Montespina Park Hotel

This hotel 🏨 is far far away from being a 4 star hotel. It’s very old and dated. The breakfast is basic with cereal and canned fruit’s little bit cheese and salami. The restaurant itself quite nice and clean. The staff are amazing, welcoming and friendly. If you don’t have a car you’ll be lost here the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing to do or see nearby. Bus and trains are very far. The rooms are terrible 😣 first room we got given smelled terrible. The toilet brush had a shit on it. It was mouldy all the walls dirty and plaster peeling off it had no view. The second room we got given was more or less the same with ants. After we got given a bungalow room which was better but again smelled on mould, water on the windows and just nothing fancy for 4 star hotel. In general this was my first and last holiday to Italy. So disappointed- people are extremely rude and arrogant. The way they drive is beyond fearful, no one is using indicators the cut you all the time speed and enter your lane without notice. It’s hard to stay alive I have not seen such a bad drivers before it’s joke. Also their toll taxes you pay constantly for tolls and it’s too much. Ridiculous. The way they celebrate new year it’s a joke people use so much fire works on new year was a smok until the next day and we couldn’t breathe had to wear a wet cloth- I was shocked they burn the boxes after they used the fire works. Pure joke fire everywhere smoke and flames. The air in Naples’s and around it’s toxic everyday and super dirty. The Naples itself it’s proper shithole this city we entered and exit I didn’t even stopped. Everywhere we went it’s dirty buildings are old dirty and looking like they will collapse any moment. Super run down. Last trip ever

The first room we were assigned had an ant infestation, we were moved to another room that also had ants. The breakfast included canned fruit, cold hardboiled eggs and day old pastries. The Netflix wasn’t working in the second room and while we were told that it would be fixed, it was not. The front desk staff were very pleasant but lacking in suggestions for activities in the area. The Hotel appears to be in need of some TLC . I would rate it as a 2/3 star property.

The front office staff was very accommodating. The first room we were infested with ants, we moved to another room and the same problem to a lesser extent. Netflix didn’t work in the new room and despite assurances the problem would be rectified it was not. The breakfast was mainly canned fruit products, hard boiled eggs, bread, some desserts and lukewarm warm coffee. The dining room was okay to poor. The hotel gave the impression of being old and needing a lot of TLC. I will say agin that the front desk staff were very accommodating but I don’t think we will return.
