Albergo del Senato

We loved staying at Hotel Albergo del Senato! The staff were so kind and friendly. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace and complimentary breakfast. Everything from the drinks to the food was delicious.

The location is great if you are looking to be close to a lot of the sightseeing and monuments in Rome. Everything was within 15-20 minutes walking distance.

The cleaning staff was amazing - our room was refreshed multiple times a day which was greatly appreciated!

We would stay here again!

This was our second trip to Rome and by far the better hotel. I mean, a balcony overlooking the pantheon! We were amazed when we got to our beautifully appointed room and stepped out onto the balcony. The hotel staff were lovely. The buffet breakfast more than ample. The only issue we had was with coffee cups. On two occasions we were left standing with other guests waiting for cups so that we had coffee/tea with our breakfast. We’d stay at this hotel again without question.

Remarkable having breakfast overlooking Pantheon from penthouse suites. Best experience I ever had. Both rooms had beautiful views and one had quite spacious balcony. We were so surprised to hear opera in the evenings, the singer was quite powerful and really created a very romantic feeling as she sang in front of the Pantheon.

Service was amazing, we really enjoyed watching sunsets from the roof top terrace.

Looking forward to returning on our next vacation.

Our first trip to Rome was so special staying in the pent house. A direct view of the Pantheon was breathtaking. I woke up every day in amazement. The breakfast buffet was good with a nice variety. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location was perfect to get to anywhere in Rome. Many things were walking distance. The room had lost of space and the bed was comfortable. The AC was good. The view made it unbelievable.

Everything was wonderful. This hotel is a gem. It's small and elegant and the service is impeccable. The cherry on top is the roof terrace, we started our evening up there with an aperitif (or 2) and lovely views over the city; we enjoyed chatting with other travelers about our experiences and traded advice. Location is very convenient to everything whether you're walking or taking a taxi. We visited in the height of season and no issues finding tables at restaurants if you're willing to eat early (7pm). A wonderful little leather store across the piazza for last minute gifts was really fun. Hotel staff is super responsive and makes you feel welcome. It was 100 degrees outside and while we had to have them turn on our AC a few times (it seemed to automatically turn off) all it took was a quick call to the front desk and it was immediately turned back on. We had 3 separate rooms and the other 2 rooms had no issue with AC. We had children in our group and they loved the breakfast buffet with a selection of pastries and even hot chocolate (yup, in 100 degree weather...). Linens were great quality and the rooms, while small, are in top condition. Bathrooms were sleek and clean. I look forward to returning to Rome and I will definitely be staying here!

We stayed in this beautiful hotel for 3 nights. Good location, very large and comfortable suite room, kind and helpful staff and quite good breakfast. This hotel is very close to Pantheon, you can go everywhere easily. The rooftop bar has an excellent view of Pantheon. I would rate 5 stars but unfortunately the staff didn’t fix the clogged sink issue even though I told them. I added a photo of the clogged sink. Maybe they should consider using liquid soap instead of solid soap.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! The location is amazing! The service was great! Loved the breakfast and the rooftop bar is hard to beat. I think this is one of the best places to stay in Rome.

Excellent location, beautiful property and attentive staff. We had a lovely view of The Pantheon from our room. The rooftop bar had an amazing view of Rome with a gentle breeze and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a Spritz in the afternoon. The staff helped arrange transportation, make reservations for restaurants and were always pleasant and accommodating. I would highly recommend the property and it was convenient for all the activities we had planned in Rome.

The location was perfect! My single room was small but so quaint and sweet and I loved it. Breakfast was great with fantastic choices. I was very impressed with the staff and the cleanliness of the Hotel. I hope I am able to return.

My husband and I booked this hotel after our other fell through and I am so glad we did. Not only was the location incredible with the Pantheon right outside, it was also only a 20-30 minute walk to some other major attractions. The rooftop terrace was one of our favorite aspects of this hotel. The rooms were quite nice as well. The staff was definitely one of the best parts of this hotel though. They were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Definitely don’t skip out on this place!
