Very good location and a unique room decoration. Very close to major attractions and restaurants.Friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom is tiny difficult to get a proper shower. Any time that you will get a bath you will think that you are in a spaceship capsule. The hotel has no elevator and it is located on a third floor. Do not book hotel if you have a disability that will not let you climb the steps. Also be aware that you will have to bring up the luggage to the third floor. This hotel has the best free minibar services that you can possible have way better than an all inclusive hotel.

1. the Location is good BUT:
2. didn‘t get any bill until now! (3rd day) we paid cash and asked 3 times for the bill
3. the rooms are really really small, we struggled alot with space
4. our check in at 2 pm wasn‘t possible!! We had to wait 1 hour longer
The worst thing after all:
5. The hotel invited us for a dinner (a restaurant in the near of the hotel). We made plans for our evening so we could go there and were excited!
But then we got in and they didn‘t even give us their Menu. They gave us a „special“ menu. No choice only spaghetti as main dish and water for free. We were really disappointed and angry because we wanted to have something special for our last night in Rome!! Why couldn‘t they say that they have a special Menu and no INVITATION?
We‘ll definitely contact them again, really disapointing.

Fantastic location , central to every sightseeing location ( within walking distance to pantheon , palazzo navona)
Coloseum about 20min walk away.
Mikael ( owner) extremely friendly and informative about history and art) provides detailed guides to the essential art lovers of rome .
Anita at reception super friendly and accomadating.
Provided :Aircon, massage chair , foot spa.
Generous breakfast food and drinks , free tea, coffee items in room included for your stay ( free minibar)
Help with your luggage to room .
Secure locked gate and entry .

Hotel Barret is wonderfully eclectic, we loved the artistic vibe and colourful rooms! The view is to die for, the location couldn't be more central, the breakfast is incredibly generous. A big thank you to the lovely Italian man at the reception, who showed us everything in our room and treated us to a bottle of Moscato. What a sweet welcome! Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱

The location was worth everything. About a 20 minute walk to everything. The rooms were cheesy and small but fine because you won’t spend a lot of time there. They provided a lot of food options for snack or breakfast. I don’t think you can go wrong staying here.

This place is amazing! Just stay here and stop looking for places to stay in Rome. Location is perfection! Historical places and buildings walking distance. Amazing restaurants (some expensive and some cheap) around it! And the customer service is just unbelievable amazing. Richard helped us and he is an excellent person. He even gave us a map with research of things to do and suggested restaurants too.
The room has everything you need. From toothbrushes to shaving kits. You literally only need to bring your clothes when coming here. We even received a bottle of cold Moscato wine when we arrived. Also, the room included everything in the mini bar which is something I've never seen specially for the price.
When I come back to Rome I will definitely be staying here again!

Close to everything including many transit options, restaurants, sights, etc. Views from the room are of beautiful ruins that seem to now be some type of cat sanctuary. Staff was amazing, the hotel itself was very interesting and unique.
