Overhead a Norwegian kid saying "this hotel feels like a museum", and I can't describe it any better!
It's one of my absolute favorite hotels that I've ever been to. Views overlooking the Largo di Argentina are unique, and the varieties of options available in the mini fridge was unmatchable. The people in the reception were all friendly and helpful.
Would love to stay here again on my next visit to Rome.

Magical! Annette, at the front desk, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, after the long journey from home. The room decoration is perfect for Rome. The abundance of breakfast and snack foods was fun to explore. The location is amazing - truly a 7 minute slow walk to the Pantheon and busses and a taxi stand right outside the door. Great restaurant next door, and a grocery a block away.
An excellent window blocked out all noise when closed; and we the street with the bus stops, etc.
This hotel is for those who enjoy exploring. It is modern, but it is not Americanized. There's no elevator, and the bathroom, while having excellent water pressure and being very pretty, has a small shower and few places to set toiletries. If you want a Hilton look elsewhere. If you have an open mind and want to have an awesome time, stay here!!!

back and foot massagers in the room, a lot of food from desserts to sausages, daily refill on the fridge and the unique style. Even our room was a photo-worthy part of our vacation. Thank you for everything.

The hostess, Annette, was absolutely the best!! The historic building is beautiful. The breakfast spread is insane -- the care and thought that goes into that was wonderful to see.

They held our luggage for us so we could start exploring right away. Nice friendly staff. Above a restaurant and more on the front street. The Ruins were in front of the building. Walkable to major sites!

Quirky, Lovable, Killer Location
This is a quirky hotel in the ideal location for getting anywhere you want to be in Rome. Over the top decor and tight space, but comfortable and friendly. We stay here every time we come to Rome, and wont consider anywhere else. Truly, its not for everyone (3 floor walk up!), but when you love it you love it. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, Hotel Barrett!

Amazing staff. Very clean rooms. They welcomed us with a bottle of wine and biscuits. And They gifted us one big package of italian pasta. They even offered us a free dinner at a nice restaurant. Best of the best. Highly recommended.

It is a unique hotel, tiny and corky, but we enjoyed our short stay here. They do not serve breakfast, but they had a mini bar that was free and absolutely full of everything and anything you could ever think of for breakfast well worth our one night stay here Location was great and in short walking distance to all the restaurants, stores and the usual attractions

So friendly and helpful with a room containing all home comforts and more.
From a fridge in our room fully stocked with drinks, meats, cheeses and more to the massage chair and foot massager in our room.
Our stay was a delight and so close to all the main attractions with bus stops directly outside.
I really can’t praise this hotel and its staff enough they made us feel so at home.
Even giving a gift at the start and end of our stay. Book this hotel. You will not regret!
