Hotel della Torre Argentina in Rome

We chose this hotel primarily because of their pricing we found through Expedia while we were planning our trip to Rome. Once I realized the incredible location it was in I couldn’t have been happier. This hotel is in such a prime location of most major sites in Rome. We walked literally everywhere, including all the major points of interest and they were all within 20 minutes: the Vatican, the colosseum, the pantheon, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, Piazza Navona & Vittoriano. The hotel is very reasonably priced and the entire staff was always pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, tall ceilings and well lit. The bed surprisingly very comfortable, a nice bonus since we didn’t know how it would be since we are Americans and used to our adjustable bed. The bathroom was clean and decorated in marble with traditional bidet. The shower was a standard European style tub with small shower towards the front half with no door. This made showing a bit tricky since we are used to a fully enclosed shower with no issue of spraying water outside of the shower area. We carefully took our showers not to make a mess of water outside the shower. The handheld sprayer was nice to have since it really made the experience easier and more efficient. The hotel has a nice rooftop terrace to get a view of the surrounding neighborhood or just sit and have a drink and take in a sunrise or sunset. The only thing we wish was different was the elevators, they are tiny. My wife and I had to take separate elevators to be able to take our luggage up without taking multiple trips. See my picture it helps with showing the small elevators. Other than that, we loved this entire experience and very highly recommend this hotel to all, especially if you plan to walk most of the city, then it’s the best location and price you will easily find in a safe neighborhood too ( I went out multiple nights at 2 am to walk the to get great photos of the nighttime look while avoiding the huge crowds and blistering humidity & heat).

We stayed in this hotel during our stay in Rome ,we just left today and we didn't want to leave !!!
The location of the hotel is perfect for walking to Pantheon,Piazza Navona,Fontana Di Trevi,Piazza Venecia and even more tourist attractions and also there are bus stations that help you visit other tourist attractions too.

All of the staff were polite and happy to help. They gave us instructions for sightseeing and buses and everything we needed during our stay there.

The hotel room was perfect and also the breakfast was very delicious.

To summarize when we visit Rome again that's the hotel we are choosing and the hotel we recommend to all our friends and family.

Talk about central location. We spent 4 nights here and literally walked to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and countless churches, piazzas, and restaurants. And we’re not even in good shape lol. You can practically touch the Pantheon from the rooftop terrace! The hotel is right on a bus line to the Vatican and basically everywhere else. The reception staff was always very helpful in pointing us in the right direction and arranging for taxis. The breakfast was also pretty good, but not our favorite in Italy. (Still a great way to start the day though). We loved eating and shopping around Piazza Campo di Fire nearby. Overall, highly recommended.

We had a couple days to spend in Rome prior to a cruise and selected this location for its close proximity to the key sites in Rome. That was a very wise decision. We were within a 15-20 minute walk of the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Parthenon. We were able to easily visit all the sites in the limited time we had available. Many great restaurants are nearby particularly in the nearby area around Piazza Navona.

The hotel itself was wonderful. Rooms are very clean and well appointed. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our flight landed in Rome at 6:30am so we reached the hotel by 9:00am. We were able to check our bags and go out exploring. By noon our room was ready and we were able to relax for a bit before more sightseeing in the evening.

I highly recommend the breakfast. They have wide selection of items to suit any taste and the coffee/espresso machine made beverages as good as the local coffee shops.

Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Rented 2 rooms for multi-night stay in May.
Rooms are spacious for Rome, also very clean.
Bathrooms are really god size, with choice of shower or bath.
Service was really good, and very friendly.
Location of the hotel is just a gem. Pretty much dead center for all we wanted to see.
Highly recommend it.
Only downfall is their tiny elevator.
Did not try the breakfast.

The hotel was great. We went to Rome for my wife's 50th birthday, the staff were brilliant and very helpful (they even left a birthday note and a bottle of champagne in our room without me informing them of my wife's birthday), the hotel location was central and close to everywhere (the Pantheon was 2 mins away), the breakfast was excellent. Very good overall experience, we can't wait to return.

Awesome Stay !! Hotel reception and staff very friendly and attentive. Room was small but comfortable. Bathroom and shower was very modern and clean. Location was excellent. Minutes from the pantheon and piazza navona. Bus stop right outside the door. 25 minute walk from the vatican. Elevators are very tiny but there's 2 of them. Hallway was kind of noisy with people walking by and slamming doors at night but I've seen worse. Did not take advantage of the breakfast or the bar or the rooftop but maybe next time because I will be returning.

My stay at the Hotel della Torre Argentina was excellent. The staff were super friendly and helpful, Maria checked me in and also let me know about the amazing roof deck which has views of the Pantheon and.Sant’Ivo. I was here to teach a painting workshop and I actually did a painting from the roof deck there.
My room was clean and comfortable, and the AC worked great as I was here when it was very hot outside. The location is very central and walkable to lots of amazing things in the center of Rome.
I plan to return with my wife and look forward to my next visit!

This hotel exceeded our expectations! As a group of 10 they were very accommodating. The staff was super friendly and helpful with all our questions/ I cannot recommend this place enough!
