Reviews
The accommodation was great, front service (24 hr) was very helpful.
Breakfast was also a great start to the day!
Never even got offered a cup of coffee for all the discomforts!!!!
I had guests visiting Rome from Sunday to Tuesday, and as usual, I booked them at Hotel Romoli because it’s nearby. But after this nightmare, I will NEVER send anyone here again. Apparently, there’s a law that allows hotel owners to turn off the air conditioning when temperatures are below 25 degrees—but it doesn’t force them to. The result? My guests were trapped in tiny, outdated rooms that felt like saunas, with no proper ventilation and only a small, obnoxiously loud fan that was completely useless.
When my guests politely raised the issue with the woman at the reception, she was shockingly rude and dismissive. I went over to see for myself, and it was unbearably hot—completely unacceptable. I calmly suggested that the hotel should at least inform guests of this policy on their website or before they book, but instead of a reasonable response, the woman at the reception exploded, screaming at us and calling us uneducated! The level of unprofessionalism was astounding.
This place is an absolute disgrace. The rooms are uninhabitable, the staff is outrageously hostile, and the entire experience was beyond miserable. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Hotel Romoli is a disaster, and quite frankly, it should be shut down. Do yourself a favor—stay anywhere else. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever encountered, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
