Reviews
Did booking online with booking. com
Later we had to extend our stay and got a better deal from the front desk
I recommend you to book the hotel online as it is usually Full
The rooms a decent and location is excellent just 2 min walk from metro station
We decided to walk from hotel to the Vatican City and it took 20 min to reach
The staff is helping
Specially the lady clens the rooms everyday
The towels are clean and the bedsheets are also clean
However the walls are very thin and you’ll hear all the guests in the rooms around you doing the deed and being very loud, the noise from other guests and the birds in the morning was a bit of an issue.
The bathroom is very small but the water pressure in the shower is amazing, the room is spacious with a closet, a fridge, and a hot water kettle.
However for the price and location it’s a great hotel, won’t visit it again but great for a short stay, I stayed for 2 nights and I’m not complaining that much.
Loads of restaurants around and places to get food, 5 minutes walk away from a main road full of shops for shopping.
Would like to add one last thing, the bedding and the towels didn’t feel that clean.
So for the noise and cleanliness it gets 2 stars deducted.
You have to leave your key every time you exit the hotel (really?!)
Blanket was in the closet and it smelled and was ancient. Paint was peeling off the walls around the AC unit and the chandelier was broken in 2 places.
This is a motel not a hotel in my opinion. I wouldn't pay more then 70 or 80 a night for this and even then only if all the other hotels are booked.
Location is decent and it has a mini fridge with working AC but that is about it. I don't have high standards but this was pretty bad.
Bathroom is good everything functioning well and very clean. It looks very updated and newly remodeled. Airconditioning is fine bed looks good. I’m a sheet person. Sheets are perfect crisp and smells clean , thick good quality cotton. Yasss! And I’m alone…🤣 I love it! Room is very clean and perfect for me. Love the iron sculpture of general Adriano wearing Versace outfit right outside my door. Fantastic sculptures throughout the building. Quiet room perhaps because I’m at the end corner on the 4rth floor. Wifi works I didn’t have any problems.
I chose this hotel for its quiet neighborhood not a lot of tourist traffic even though it’s very close to the Vatican. It’s in one of those forgotten street only locals here.
Transportations can’t beat it just around the corner is the Lepanto metro station not even 5 minutes walk. Restaurants in this neighborhood is very reasonable and low key very comfortable I had some really good ones. But the place that I love for Oso buco was closed on Sunday 🤯 I ate at Trastevere area last night supposed to be lots of new good restaurants, trendy but a waste of time they cater more to the tourist now. food is not good and not cheap anymore too. Maybe it was good 5 or 6 years ago. Ok. Love the hotel I’m surprised it’s inexpensive perhaps it suffered from the bad reviews during dinosaurs time. Good thing I didn’t read those reviews before I booked I was stressed out at the airport gotta have a hotel pronto missed my flight 🤩💕 2 more days in Rome! What a better place to get stuck.
Oh! The reception they can smile a little and make a little effort to make one feel at ease perhaps a gentle female receptionist. With that said I could say they’re functional they connected me to my airport shuttle that totally helped me out and my wake up call in the morning. I like the guy on the night shift who doesn’t speak English but very kind. I asked him for recommendations with my broken up Italian and he hooked me up for directions and a place to eat when I asked him what I want to eat. In early morning, he helped me out to call a taxi and brought my luggage out and waited for the taxi with me outside. I felt bad I forgot to give him a tip I was stressed out to make my airport shuttle. Next time I won’t forget your tip when I come back. I’ll be back again for longer stay next time.
