Albergo Ottocento Mini-hotel

Great location and fairly priced for Rome city centre. Well placed for all the main tourist hot spots.

Staff were really helpful, only downside was the noise coming from the bin men at 2.30am each night.

Friendly staff. Nice buffet breakfast. Safe location near bus stops and metro. Quiet neighborhood. Short walk to the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps.

Great service, rooftop is pricey and not always open (only when it's not cold or rains)
Room was cleaned every day.
Fits 3 person (2 young kids might fit on the sofa that opens)

The room was a little bit outdated, but it was clean. The best thing for me was the location - super close to the metro station and on a walking distance from Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Also some very nice restaurants are nearby.

Great restaurant with good food and view. But more important they have the best toilet in Rome! ❤️

Albergo Ottocento with, Ristorante Rossini rooftop restaurant ~ is an beautiful amazing hotel, Amazing location- quiet, off the main track, yet go over 1 block and you’re on the main street, in Piazza Barberini. You can catch the Open air/Double decker busses that take you everywhere, with about a 10 minute walk from Trevi Fountain and 5 more minutes to the Spanish Stairs and shops like Louis Vuitton & Prada. The hotel is a great price, clean, the staff is all very friendly, so kind and caring. They offer a breakfast, plain scrambled eggs are okay- but I’m not a huge egg fan, ham was good, crossant was delicious- you can get nutella to dip it in, if you like that! The fresh fruit and drinks made it perfect! Enough to fill you up!
One of the things I loved; you leave the key with the front desk when you leave. It’s heavy and not something I want to carry around or lose! It’s just more safe!
They do charge the VAT tax (Value Added Tax) when we checked out, mine was $30.00.
2 great things- right on the corner, up the street, is a little store: Snff Sarkar Minimarket & Wine Shop… the nicest people there, we purchased water from there several times! They take Visa or Euros. So super kind!!
Also, Fraschetteria Wine shop & Restaurant, is about 3 doors up from the Snff Sarkar Minimarket- great wine selections and a beautiful little restaurant! Make a reservation!!

The lady at the reception is beyond professional! She is warm, friendly, and energetic, give her a promotion!

The hotel location is very good, can go anywhere easily! Very vintage hotel, I love the design very much, feels like I am living at 50s’, but well take care with everything I need, except toothbrush, the hotel doesn’t provide toothbrush, remember to bring one.

Came here for dinner on the rooftop and didn’t expect much but it was REALLY GOOD. Beautiful rooftop, good service, filet with green pepper sauce was delicious, loved the pecorino wine. High recommend.

This hotel is very well located. It is walking distance from many of the best landmarks in Rome. Also the metro is just a few steps from the hotel. The hotel is also located in a very small street not very noisy. The rooms are very small but clean and with a nice bathroom. The bed is comfortable. All the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good either way a great variety of items.
