We had an amazing stay!
The reception staff was not as service-oriented as one would expect from a hotel of this caliber; they were not very friendly or welcoming to new guests.
The hotel room was okay but a bit odd. The toilet and shower were in separate rooms, and the sink was located near the bed. The toilet room felt very bare and empty, creating an echo. There was no space in front of the sink for toiletries or even a toothbrush. Overall, the room was somewhat dark and quite noisy; we could hear other guests in the corridor and even when they were showering. Some areas of the room also needed painting or renovation, making it feel a bit rundown. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, the room was sufficiently spacious and the location was perfect.
The “spa” shouldn’t really be called a spa. It featured a cold pool and a not-so-warm sauna. They played radio music with frequent commercials, which was annoying and far from relaxing.
Overall we expected something more
Only gripe were the pillows in the bedroom, need to do better in that respect.
Would suggest maintenance go in to rooms on a regular basis, paint touch ups needed in bathroom and bedside tables. Other than that a comfortable stay. Didn’t eat in restaurant ( other than breakfast) as menu did not offer many vegetarian options.
