Ibis Krakow Stare Miasto

Perfect location: 5 min walk from the Central railway station and close proximity to Old City and most Krakow attractions. Very cosy hotel, clean and quiet, with good breakfast and option for a good dinner for fair price.

My wife and I booked a spur of the moment trip away to Krakow. Accor is my go to hotel chain and so I booked the Ibis Stare Miasto. The hotel is brilliantly located and offers a warm welcome (including some Polish treats for our arrival - one of benefits of being a member). The breakfast was excellent and, as a Brit, I was delighted by the quality of breakfast tea (and size of mugs). Of course, in many hotels, it is the staff that make the real difference and here the reception team was exceptionally helpful, in particular finding which trams we needed and explaining how to use them. We would not hesitate to go back to Krakow and if/when we do the Ibis Stare Miasto will be our first choice.

If you want the old town it’s a 20minute walk. We did this most days. The Galleria Mall is 5 minutes away and it’s combined with the railway station.
We used the train to get to the salt mine and there is a dedicated train to the airport.

The hotel and room were clean. Comfortable beds. Bathroom seemed small at first, but it was fitted with quite a big shower and that was more important. Very friendly and helpful staff.

- An electric kettle for tea/coffee wasn't available (would gave been great to have one, but we had an amazing stay anyways)

A lovely and simple, cost effective hotel with everything you need from stable WiFi to a solid location. The corridors have free, cold water dispensers offering normal or soda and the rooms are spacious with a hair dryer, clean towels/sheets and needed soaps.

Breakfast was great with everything needed to start your day off on the right foot. Locationally it's situated a 5 minutes walk from the main station and mall that connects the airport and the rest of the country and it's just a 10/15 minute walk from great food and the heart of old town!

Extremely conveniently located – just minutes away from the main train station and also only a simple, leisurely stroll to the main square and old town.

My room was welcoming, clean and functional. There was plenty of space and it was nice and quiet which made for a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city.

The buffet breakfast had a delightful spread of options each morning, with plenty to choose from. There was an array of breads, pastries, pancakes, fresh fruits and cereals. The variety ensured there was something to satisfy every palate, setting everyone up for the day ahead.

The hotel staff further enhanced my experience with their helpfulness and readiness to address any inquiries. There is also a luggage room available for use which was really helpful from between when I checked out and my train.

Overall, my experience at Ibis Hotel Krakow was exceptional, combining convenience, comfort, and hospitality seamlessly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a stay in the heart of Krakow at a reasonable price.

Located ideally in a not so crowded area. Rooms are just fine, comfortable and the breakfast is pretty good. Overall I recommend this hotel.
