Hotel Royal

Room was really dusty until i had to suffer allergies from dust. There were dust on tv, mirror and couple places. this has doubt in the cleanliness of entire room!

I had enjoyed the 1 complimentary beverage and 1 banana muffin /pax , although it was tag sweet to our liking but it was still enjoyable.

location is walking distance to velocity shopping mall,pubs and to Novena MRT station. Bus stop is right infront of the hotel.

we had found bible book in the drawer which gave a suspicious impression of "extra guest" which we had tried to ignore. unfortunately we had been disturbed in our sleep and I had to turn on prayer for the entire night and finally we could sleep and woke up to find bath towel in the tub fully soak in from our leftover tub water . #13 floor room.

we could hear the aircon pump running at various intervals (the sound of krib krib plus sounded like electrical buzzing)
In summary:
well, its overall a good value hotel if they can improve the cleanliness. ghost wise, i will to think not all the room will have these guest so we will definitely come back again to stay to check on cleanliness, comfortable and Hopefully No Ghost!

$12 breakfast is good except sausage was very dry, omlete was perfect in moisture, fluffyness and taste.

The location and rate is good. The hotel concept is still in 80's style, however just a small issue that the bathtub is too high to climb in and the anti slip mat provided was filled with fungus kept rolled at corner of the tub. After we see it feels better not to use that mat! It's a bit dangerous to climb out of the tub with wet legs especially elderly people.
