Baan Chart Mini-hotel

Stayed 5 nights. Clean and AC worked very well, toiletries provided. Room made up daily. Friendly and helpful staff. Safe in room. Around the corner from Khao San Rd, lots of restaurants and street food in area. ComfyNeed, warm duvet. One thing I didn’t know from reviews, use your key card in a slot on the wall for lights and air con to work. Live music finished at 11, and the street noise didn’t bother me. Bring ear plugs if you think it might bother you.

Very classy Hotel but with prices well above the hotels in the area.
The pool on the last floor deserves a lot worth.

First the good:

Clean, great location for a night out, nice room, good shower - which is all we really wanted.

The not-so-good:

Very loud until about 3am, and the food sucks. Breakfast should be avoided, as should any form of chicken where you can't see the actual meat. We had a plate of gristle and tendon covered in batter which was completely inedible, and even when the staff cleared it away they didn't ask what's wrong - maybe they're used to no one eating it?!

On the subject of staff, the reception staff were very nice & helpful, but the same can't be said of the waiting staff who were slow, disinterested and not exactly friendly.

In summary a good place to get your head down after a night out, but you wouldn't want to stay long.

Khao San Road is right next to this location was good
The interior is a Chinese modern style.
For the price the rooms are too small

Very nice Hotel. Ideal for backpackers who are interested in staying in a real Hotel. The Hotel is directly next to the famous Kaosan Road. If you want to explore Bangkok, but travel by Taxi or other vehicles to the nearest BTS stations, otherwise there is no public transport. Right next to the Hotel there is a street with many Restaurants.

Luxurious, clean hotel with superb staff. Quite noisy during weekend because it's right next to the Khao San Road. If you expect a quiet evening try a different one or ask for a room far from Khao San.
