Marriott Executive Apartments, Sukhumvit Thonglor

Our room was compact, but thoughtfully designed and comfortable for a few nights. Dining options here are top notch. Even their lobby buffet restaurant stocked premium seafood. I have included a short video of the buffet below. The lobby bar is quite comfortable too. Octave on the rooftop was nice, and The District Grill exceeded my expectations in both food and service. Complementary valet parking is a nice perk too.

Regrettably, certain aspects fell short of the mark. The pool area, though functional, lacked an inviting atmosphere; a warmer, more curated aesthetic could encourage guests to linger. The executive lounge proved the most significant letdown. While it offered adequate privacy, satisfactory food and beverage options, and a decent view, the space itself was uninspired—an elongated rectangular room with dining chairs arranged in a rigid grid. Introducing plush sofas and partitioned zones would greatly elevate its appeal. Consequently, I would not recommend paying a premium for lounge access. Additionally, this property is ill-suited for families with children, as it lacks a kids’ club or engaging activities beyond the pool.

2025-06-30, 2:30pm request taxi to Suvarnabhumi airport. The taxi driver drive me Wrong direction to Nana BTS station cause it is heavy traffic jam. I shout and yell and then taxi driver request me to guide him to airport.
It takes me 1hour and 30min to airport.
Please don’t let this taxi driver as Marriott hotel partner.

The hotel is in a convenient location. There is a pedestrian bridge linking Thong Lo BTS station to the doorstep of the hotel. There are many cafes nearby as well.

Room is big, I was upgraded to a nice big room, just for 1 night, I think this is ok.

This was a great place to relax after 32-hour flight.

A little ways from the main nightlife but easy to get to by sky train right outside the lobby.

The lounge is one of the best and the view is amazing.

I can not point out any individual staff because they were all great. They made my wife and I feel like we were at home.

Great location and huge rooms. Walkable to so many good restaurants and clubs.

Hotel is right on the thong lo BTS station, so good if you want to explore central Bangkok area cause you have seamless BTS connectivity from this point. Rooms are relatively spacious for this area. Service is good as well. Club lounge food menu can be better but the beverage offerings are good. Pool and gym is decent type. All in all , good place to consider if you are willing to at sukumvit neighbourhood.

Clean room. Fast elevators. Great water pressure in the shower. Nice bathroom. Nice pool. Had no idea how to use the washer. There were no instructions. Its close to the BTS skytrain but… there’s no supermarket near by.
