my and I used the gym and swimming pool here. All the staffs are lovely and take good care of us. All the staffs at the gym are lovely. Thank you Bo and Golf and Big, the receptionist at the gym. The atmosphere is very nice and private.

This is a fantastic 5 star hotel, riverside and right across from the superb ICON SIAM mall, arguable the best mall in Bangkok. The hotel provides a free ferry to cross the river. The hotel's amenities are of the highest quality with clean, beautiful rooms, exceptional on-site restaurants, incredible service, a fabulous grand lobby complete with Piana Player and a truly amazing lobby bar. Plus, the pool and outside gardens are so serene and relaxing. All the grounds are well kept. The gym and spa are FIRST class. I stay at 5 star hotels on a regular basis, and in Bangkok, Shangri-La is my favorite one. Kudos to the staff and management for creating a truly magical experience :)

So beautiful here! Wonderful smiling staff, spacious rooms with bath and shower, many upscale shops. Best of all a riverfront view in Bangkok. Complimentary mini bar for first fill. Love it!!! Reading nook by the window, overlooking a gorgeousoverhead railway. Very close to overhead railray.

Nice and elegant hotel with comfortable room. The bed is a little bit hard, but is tolerable. The fitness center is nice. The outdoor pools are quite small, which are suitable for kids. Breakfast served at the first floor is great, including some traditional Thai foods and a variety of choices. I like homemade ice cream a lot. The main build of the hotel is not quite easy to access via public transport. The hotel had ferry taking guests to the mall across the river, 6 times daily.

Fantastic hotel with plenty nearby IF you want to leave the hotel!
I say IF as the hotel is perfect so you may not even want to leave! 2 night here and with an incredible view of the river and fantastic facilities we will be back for sure!
Service from the moment we arrived until we left was immaculate and the hotel itself has so many spaces to chill and explore we were very happy. Our personal favourite was sitting beside the pool on the sun beds looking at the river watching to boats fly by! Very happy customers

The Shanghai La deserves its stars. Excellent view over the river. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety. The staff was anonymous and can’t remember any of them. Room was as expected clean, nice and spacious.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The service was top notch, the hotel room was big beautiful and clean, location was great, food was AMAZING. I can’t wait until my next visit, and I have recommended to all of my family and friends, thanks shangri la Bangkok for the great service, you have made my first visit to Thailand a great one.

Beautiful hotel with great view of the river. Fantastic facilities with 2 swimming pools. Great restaurants and offers for their circle members. Very accommodating to guests- I will like to commend Mr Nut at the front desk for helping me with my room booking. Highly recommend a stay here. Great shopping awaits also with their free boat shuttle (watch the available times) to the IconSiam shopping just opposite side of the river

We had an amazing experience here. We wanted to spoil ourselves at the end of a long trip and we were easily able to do that here. It felt like walking into a palace. Our river-view room was beautiful with the most comfortable plush beds. We ate at the Next 2 Cafe breakfast every morning and got room service every night and every single thing we ate was unbelievable. I also got a spa treatment here and it was wonderful and relaxing. Everything was a great value. The hotel is very close to the Sathorn Pier which has ferries across the river. It was a really convenient location. Maybe we are easy to impress but we were really blown away by this place.
